How much is too much when contacting your team or downline?

Too much of any thing is not recommended but at time you have to break this rule. Here the target audience decides when and how much is too much.

1. There will be people in your downline who are self motivated and work oriented, who only need your welcome speech and a few "Getting Started" tips and then you need not to worry about them. Just a weekly contact or a stream message is more than enough. If they need your help they will contact you themselves.

Hi, I think it is very important to keep in contact with your downline. But, you should only send team mail or email when you have something helpful to encourage everyone. If someone was emailing me every day with the same information or with something that is not relevant, I would be quite irritated. So, be sure the information you are sending is relevant and helpful.

When contacting your team and downlines, a regular once weekly email for encouragement will be sufficient.

But if something comes up within the week that you find motivating and want to share with your downlines, then do that.

I do a weekly email to encourage my downlines, to keep working hard on SFI.
But when I come upon information that has motivated and encouraged me, like the pro-profit purchases, for instance, then I email my downlines to share the information.

1. Trying to push them towards a certain procedure of doing SFI business according to

Communication is an important tool in our information age. It plays a vital part in advancing technology. In SFI, sharing information could lead to successful journey towards one’s goal or may lead to failure when there is no sharing or interaction. When sending email to downlines, one should consider the status and level of understanding. A Team Leader should know this, when contacting new affiliates, he should guide them to SFI basics. TOO MUCH is when you put pressures to your team members. Continuously contacting and advising them to work harder makes more difficult for them to take action. It is better for you to provide more tools and encouragement rather than pushing them too hard in spite of the many factors that hinders them to move.

Try to be nice and gentle and keep on motivating them.

This question is multi fold. It depends on the content of your messages to your down line. First of all we must take cognizance of the fact that SFI is sending daily emails especially to new affiliates, now it we must be very careful that we don't duplicate the same information to our downlines.

We should also remember that as individuals we are not the same. Some people get easily annoyed and bored to be showered with a lot of information constantly.

This is a great question,

For me when I first started ,I didn't understand SFI ,

I was looking for something to make money fast,Like a lot of people

With the economy like it is ,everyone is in need of a second or even a first income

I now now ,that if I stick with it ,It will work for me.

And if my sponsor and co-sponsor hadn't contacted me as often as they did,

I wouldn't be here now .

Great question. Sometimes you get confused when you see people signing up under you but staying on 0 VP, even though you have contacted them and welcomed to your team. Why is it happening? It is a mystery for lot of SFI affiliates. It is a mystery for me also because I keep on sending them encouraging mails but they never respond. So the question arises whether the communication method adopted by me was too much for them or very less.

I contact my downline every week via the genealogy mailer as recommended.
I also send an individual message via email or team mail to people in my Movers page, if they haven't been there for a while, just to encourage them or congratulate them.
If I see the yellow bubble next to someone's name when I'm on, I drop a short 'hullo'.
If someone who was previously active drops out of my Movers page, I send that person an individual email asking if everything is okay and do they need help.
