I feel the best way to learn about advertising is to use the search engines like Google.

Try searching for free advertsing, paid to click (PTC) sites, cost per click (CPC), text ad exchanges, article marketing, online classfieds, and any other search terms that you might come up with.

SFI is here to give the basics on how to go about getting started. We are expected to grow as individuals and develop methods that work best for each of us. Once we find our niche then it is our job to develop advertising methods that will gain the best results. If you have Really Completed the SFI training then you will not be a complete novice. If I give you the outside source of learning then it’s like I am making a confession that SFI training lacks something.
SFI has already segregated the methods as Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, so if you are a complete novice just start with the Beginner then move to Intermediate and then finally you can use the advanced methods.

Well, It is a very good question to ask. As far as I think, when I joined SFI about 40 days ago I was a complete novice and don't know about internet advertising. But now after almost 40 days I can say that there is no other best to teach you on internet marketing business.

When you say you are a complete novice, Danette, do you mean you are a Computer novice, or a novice to Advertising. Also it depends on how much you want to invest.
The ideal method of course is to have the advertising "Done For You" by investing $22 per month with a unit of the SFI's "S-Builder Co-op",

I think the best way , which i also did was:-

1.Taking guidance from your sponsor and other team leaders,as they are more experienced than you and can give you some serious help.

2. Contacting with A2A friends and asking them about internet advertising, if anyone of them is your good friend, he/she can help you a lot.

In the internet world its many oportunitys to make advertising...free or not...
And SFI can learn everybody how to make their own advertise, but if someone want more...

Beyond SFI training, the best ways I have learned about advertising are through
1. Communication with my Sponsor, Upline and other affiliates.
2. Other SFI features such as Tips tab, Best Tips, Forum, and Ask SC.
3. Online searches on google, yahoo, bing, Youtube etc.
4. Joining forums and business groups and reviewing/being part of the discussions
5. Reading e-books and articles on the matter.
6. Participation in webinars

In my opinion, the best place to learn about advertising is IBO Toolbox. It is free to join. At this advertising platform, novice marketers like us can learn a lot about advertising form many of the Veterans, professional and successful marketeers, who visit there daily. We can also read their previous posts and press releases on their profile page.
