What is the best way to learn (after SFI training) about advertising using the internet when you are a complete novice?

When you say you are a complete novice, Danette, do you mean you are a Computer novice, or a novice to Advertising. Also it depends on how much you want to invest.
The ideal method of course is to have the advertising "Done For You" by investing $22 per month with a unit of the SFI's "S-Builder Co-op",
If you need information on using your computer then enter into your Browser for Google to answer your question such as "Introduction to Internet" or "intro.to the PC."
You will get many options and it will depend if you want to spend some money, or find a Free course. Best of Luck Danette

What is the best way of encouraging affiliates who have become dormant to become active again?

Send them a personalised email (with their name at the top).
This shows them that they have NOT been ignored or forgotten, as this is one of the reasons that they may have become inactive.
Then remind them of all the possible advantages of their staying active.
This will certainly re-activate a number of them at least.
