A lot of people are desperate for money and they want it and need it fast. They are not to blame for looking for a business that would make them rich overnight. Will they find that business? No! Instead, they will only lose their hard earned money by making the marketing guru get rich very quick.
It is a learning process, they just do not know any better. Those who do not realize this early enough get their fingers burned several times. They eventually find their way back to a genuine business like SFI where they learn that the harvest is never the same season as the planting and end up having a good understanding of how a real business runs. Therefore, if you have such affiliates as most of us do, be patient...some will be back in their own time.

The common thread found in all answers are the rampant internet scams which promise that subscribers can 'make' hundreds or thousands of dollars daily or every week. SFI is seen by everyone in the same light. Whereas on the contrary, SFI's genuineness cannot be over emphasized. Just as there is a time to sow, then a period of waiting for the crop to ripen and only thereafter the joy of harvesting. At SFI we just do diligent and persistent hard work, then wait patiently for our hard work to multiply--and only then see the harvest of our earnings multiply and grow, consistent with the efforts we have sown.
Therefore, when recruiting, this aspect has to be clearly highlighted to new affiliates. The word 'genuine' can somehow be woven into the fabric of one's text or ads when seeking new affiliates.

Sometimes people think this is a get rich quick project because of some of the implied statements made by some team leaders. If you take the time to read your launchpad lessons, they tell you specifically that this is not a get rich quick project. You will earn what you are able and willing to invest. If your funds are limited, you will have limited income. If you have ample capital to invest, like in the standing orders and the S-Builder Co-op, then you stand a chance of making more money. People coming in will not know that based on the way the opportunity was advertised. That is why they assume it is a get rich quick opportunity.

We are in a fast changing world with the internet taking the world by storm. Some have made really some good money from it, it's another thing that most have got their hands burnt. Hence, due to the complexities and uncertainties of this ever changing market, people think they can also make a killing of a similar kind as the successful ones.
It's simply because the internet is awash with get-rich-quick scam systems that have fleeced many of us. Such scams promise overnight riches, which we all know is not possible without putting in equivalent amount of work towards your pre-set goals. It's like failing to set a target and still expect to hit the undefined target. These get rich quick scam systems make people to perceive most online systems as just scam and therefore many become inactive after joining SFI, expecting to earn commissions without doing any work. Fortunately those keen on long term success should be able to easily see that SFI is a gem amongst these systems because it provides a well defined plan of action; offers an opportunity to set goals upfront and breaks down the action plan into manageable to-do list of activities to help you achieve your goals.

I had to chuckle a little at this question...because the ONLY reason I joined this program (and company) was specifically because they didn't tell me I would become rich overnight. They told me something that sounded wise - that I had to work to make money. Anyone that offers you an opportunity that will make you rich overnight is a scam. Because money doesn't grow on trees, you have to work for it.
