Yes, it is very important to move your rank upward, to the highest level ever, because when you reach this level, you can naturally gain trust to your downlines. Showing them that you are a good leader, an achiever, hard worker, a role model, a title holder, all this things would gain trust to you downlines, then they begin questioning themselves, "IF THEY CAN MAKE IT WHY CAN'T I?" So they begin to puzzle themselves, why their sponsors achieved the higher ranks, so trust there begins, that

Absolutely, just as Jack M.Zufelt said "A leader is someone who is ahead of the pack. Even if it is only by one inch. They are doing, or have done, what they want or expect others to do. They are not watchers nor do they wait around. They take action...proper action....a lot of proper action! And they never give up!"
Moving up rank definitely puts you in control, showing your affiliates what it means to be a strong and active sponsor.
Your downline is always looking up to you and

While rank is a very important thing as far as commissions go, I think that the most important thing to gain trust from my downline is through communications and being there for them anytime they have a question, promptly. But it goes further; being sure about your answer, and taking the time to find links for easier answer finding. Also, posting quality information in your stream posts help a great deal. Saying "Have a great weekend", and posting the same message over and over conveys

Having a higher rank will show your downline that you are serious about SFI. However to gain more trust from your team it is more effective to not only have a good rank but also to maintain constant contact. Communicate with your team regularly and be sure to offer support as well as tips and suggestions for their growth. For example you could remind them of the many ways to gain VP daily and remind them to make sure that they have done all of their launchpads. Contests are another good incentive

Most definitely. By achieving higher ranking you are leading by example. If you are not doing the things required to grow your SFI business you cannot possibly expect your Personally Sponsored Affiliates or Co-Sponsored Affiliates to take the necessary steps.

Always lead by example and teach your downline members to duplicate the successful steps that you take to achieve higher ranking. This is the key to success through duplication.

Absolutely! You have to "practice what you preach" in order to build trust and show that you're a team player by showing them where the money is. Anything less is hypocritical.

Well, personally, I felt that moving up to the title Bronze Team Leader gave me a sense of authority. It means that I am in charge of a group of people that will, I hope follow me in the way that I work this business. To me, showing that I have achieved a leadership role instead of remaning an affiliate, gives me the confidence to be able to ask my teammates to trust that I will be there, for them to assist in any way that I can therefore fueling further growth throughout.

Yes, this would help but if you will gain more trust as your downline comes to you for support and leadership. You must be able to coach, train and motivate them. I have discovered that this is also an important element because most affiliates are looking for someone to lead, guide, and develop them. Moving up in rank is important, and when they see that you are moving up in rank, they will feel more confident to confide in you.

Make sure that you are stepping up rank all areas and

Definitely... Moving up your personal rank in SFI helps to gain more trust from your downline members and helps fuel further growth. Apart from creating a trend for them to try and always catch up with you, there is also the aspect of leading by example. When you enjoin upon them to do, remember it's not only a mere talk but a walk as well. Always strive to lead by example. Actions speak louder than words.

Yes it can, but not necessarily. As a Team Leader, it's important you have a team leader rank, not just for the title sake, but also so you can make matching VP off your EA2 and enjoy other team leader benefits. But beyond these, the difference between a BTL and a PTL is mainly the levels to which you make matching VP in you downline. So it doesn't make sense for you to keep pushing your rank up when you don't really enjoy any benefits form it. I'm of the opinion that your rank should increase as
