I would hold their hand and show them exactly what to do. In fact, I have put together a spreadsheet that I constantly update which has over 500 free advertising resources, along with promo codes for each site to garner more advertising from each site. I would tell them that it won't be a glamorous job, in fact, it may be downright tedious...but go through each site, one by one, and dot the land with Banners, text ads and solo ads that all point back to your gateways. I would tell them to advertise for both their down lines and for Triple Clicks.
I would also tell them how to find even more free advertising sources by giving them very specific words to search on Google. Text exchanges are an amazingly responsive resource and there are literally thousands of them. You could post ads all day and all night for a year & never use the same ad exchange twice. Most of these exchanges us "JV Script" to run their sites, so I would tell my down line to do searches on Google for the words "JV Upgrade" & "Super JV Upgrade". Many of these exchanges also use the same Free advertising promo codes for Free ad packs so I would tell my down line to look up the words "undergrad", "Freeware" "Free Super JV" "Promo code, starter" "Promo code, new member" "Promo code, Traffic" etc. I would also look up the words "Credit Mailer" All you need to do is view the ads on just a few of these sites to have an endless breadcrumb trail of advertising to follow.
With all the free advertising out there, the only way you can fail is if you don't truly want to succeed. Use the Free advertising to make enough money to fund some lifetime or 1 Year upgrade at some of the more established advertising sites and ONLY THEN take a break!

Yes, they may never had run an organised business before but the fact that they are living, means they must have run some informal business in the course of life so do not be bothered. For a start tell them the importance of advertising. I know they might be okay with the offline advertising only. But you can make them also to tap into the online advertising also by advising them to use the S-Builder.
First of all your downline should be made to understand the importance of gaining VPs. Various ways to get VPs should be explained. Explain the steps to be taken for Team Building as Team Building is INCOME building. The easiest way is to contribute to the co op. Another way is to advertise for free, and the third way is to go for paid ads. Keep in contact with your interested downline by phone. Be in contact with them through TM and E-mails.

For one thing you should lead by example what you do they are apt to do and if you don't do anything they'll do just that you could tell them to join S-Builders and let SFI bring in your leads!
1. Explanation - for the business in general, for affiliate programs and for Multi Level Marketing. Also why is so important to advertise and what are benefits.
2. Take in hand and go together toward the way for advertising. That happens with showing your own ways and discuss marketing tools.
3. Lead by example and team work.
They should visit the site every day and read "ask SC' column answers given by the experienced fellows. Thus they will use the knowledge of their senior and will gain knowledge day by day Once they are able to 'read' their desired answer, they may apply the same for their own sake.
