What a great question.
After voting on it several times I decided to submit my own response.

I needed a mentor when I joined SFI, someone to show me exactly what to do from day 1.
My Sponsor finally contacted me days later, and tried to sell me something to buy.
Months went by with my own determination keeping me going, studying constantly.
Finally, I decided to contact my Co-Sponsor, and actually talk to him.
There were so many questions, things I had to know.

First, look to your sponsor/co-sponsors,
since your success is their success.

Then try the forum, the help desk, A2A,
and finally, Ask SC.

If you visit all these and make a habit of
taking notes and getting to know people.

Before you know it, you'll have a huge
amount of people you can talk to.

Have fun with your search:)

Hit the forum daily here at SFI, find leaders who freely exchange tips and training, and use A2A to connect and develop a more personal relationship. Not all of them will have time to devote to non team members, some have networks of over 100,000 affiliates and may not be as fast to reply to say and e-mail as they would a forum post. Don't be discouraged, some of us are very approachable with smaller success stories that you can grow with.

Be sure to engage peers. If you are a broke marketer

Hello Damien,

I think you asked this question before really studying the information provided to you as you started with SFI. I think that perhaps the best term to use instead of mentor, is sponsor. The work of the sponsor is to do just that. Your sponsor is, technically, your mentor.

Beyond your sponsor, if you look around the site, everybody is everywhere. SFI and TripleClicks is a company full of people. We work as a humungous team.

You know, some neighborhoods

When looking for a mentor for any business you need to consider a few things do they know what they are doing because they have done it themselves, have they already taught others to do it and did those they teach reach any amount of success themselves?

There are plenty of people who are told they need to fake it till they make it, this method is used in even highly recommended motivational courses, that cost lots of money.

So make sure your mentor is one who can actually offer

First you may want to know what you are looking for in a mentor. Mentor is a broad term so it is a good idea to consider what a mentor you want will have in terms of skills.

When you know what you're looking for then start to seek out a mentor or even more by using the resources that SFI gives to all affiliates:

Good question.Easy answer but tricky to implement.
Your topmost upline sponsor is your best mentor. This person has reached the current level of being right at the top by doing few key essential things.
You will only know when you communicate with the person.Since you are in his downline team,it is also in his interest to help you grow in this business as that will make him more profitable in this business. So there is a mutual benefit.
I have done this myself. There are a couple of top

When one looks for a mentor, they are essentially searching for a wise or trusted adviser who will guide them with their project or business in order to achieve their goals. At the point entry to SFI, our immediate contact is with the sponsor and co sponsor. Within a month or two one should be able to tell whether these people are giving you the support that you need.
If you find that your sponsor and co sponsor are lacking, you can always look up to your upline. In some teams there are upline

SFI is full of mentors. Right from Gery Carson, to our Moderators (who are also Affiliates building their own businesses). The Forum too is full of people who act as mentors to everyone who cares to listen - via their answers to questions asked. A2A is another avenue for mentorship. The best way to find people to mentor you is to follow these people and ask questions of them ...most of them are very happy to help. Why settle for one mentor, when you can have hundreds of them?

Hi,

You can find as mentors as you would like. You got your sponsor, co-sponsors, A2A friends, support team and all the affiliates in the forum. Pick your choice.

However, their tips would be useless if you would not experience and put actions on their tips. Experience is the best teacher.

This Ask SC Answer and the Forum are the best grounds for learning. You will learn from other affiliates experiences and at the same time share their viewpoints to solutions
