With the hype of information technology, quite a number of people have computers in their homes.

With the Internet and google, it has made it easier for people to get information within he shortest possible time (Dependent on internet speed).

Now with the use of Social Media, it has made communication to friends, family members, business partners and prospects alot easier. Some of the social media websites we have are:-

1. LinkedIn.
2. Myspace.
3. Photobucket.
4. Flickr.
5. Youtube.
6. Tumblr.
7. Spotify.
8. Foursquare.
9. Pinterest.
10. Facebook
11. Twitter.

The beauty about Social Media is that it allows cross-posting. By this, it creates an environment where users can reach the maximum number of people without sacrificing the intimacy of person-to-person communication.

That said, when communicating with our team members via our weekly team mail, we need to know from them which of the social media sites they are conversant with and how they can promote their SFI business.

The most common Social Media sites people use are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube. But with SFI clouded on Facebook, usually a blog would be required to promote SFI.

Tripleclicks being our online shop and with SFI innovations, it has incorporated and made it easier for us to promote SFI via social media with the use of the Share It button.

Also most of these sites allow you to create a group (Facebook) or page. With creating a page on facebook, we can attract both our prospects and existing customers/PSAs and discuss via Facebook messenger. Twitter on the otherhand, permits or allows short links to be posted. Such posts should be eye catching to attract your prospects.

Another way of training my team on the use of Social media to promote their SFI business is for me to encourage them to have their personal websites and blogs where they can link up any information or articles they have on their blog or website and use the share it button on Facebook, Twitter etc. The advantage of this is that, you can upload a video with llustrations not only to your team members but to prospects as well. Also with a form for prospects to fill on your site, you can get more sign ups thereby growing your team.

Also, with the use of Social Media sites for both our existing customers/PSAs and prospects, an avenue for Questions and Answers should be entertained as this indeed can act as an interactive training session.

4. If you do not have sufficient knowledge in expressing yourself, try to take the help of
any experts in such promotion, take down the details and then share them with your

6. Create a small group of your promising affiliates together, form a group and then move on with providing training to them. Do not waste your time on every one in your down line.

7. Then request every one in your chosen group to Register in a social media platform you all already decided and help every one to make their profile there. This will create working knowledge for them to follow later.

8. Again, on your part, it is most important that you made them realize the purpose of your training and that they are fully aware of everything about SFI and TripleClicks.

9. As they put all the training in to effective placement in the chosen social media platform, monitor their progress regularly and guide them for corrections or modifications or any updates required.

10. As any one you trained in the group starts receiving fresh sign ups in terms of affiliates or PRMs, etc please do not forget to praise the efforts immediately and publish it in your News Letter so that every one will know it. It can trigger more activity within your Group.

Social Media training covers activities involving social sharing of content, training videos, and images for marketing purposes, as well as paid social media advertising.
If you must train your affiliates on social media you need to

1. Have a goal
For each training section you need to have a goal, which will help you and your team grow better. such as increasing gateway traffic, build conversions, improve communication and interaction with affiliates

2.Pick a Platform
You need to select a common platform where all your teams can have access to. Is it Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, Twitter and etc. Your team must have the address to the training site, else the purpose of training may be defeated.

3. Have Good Training Contents
You social training site must be such that an affiliate who visit must always have a new idea about the SFI business. SFI has provide many training materials which is available to all members. Use the right ads, the right content, the right headings etc

4. Upload SFI video
Make a very good SFI videos and upload to the social training site. Not every of your affiliates will be available during a LIVE training. Dropping a video content would help promote SFI. Remember to state important features at SFI, the Designated Diamond, The Signing Bonus, The Milestone, The CSA reassignment and etc

5. Give room for Feedback
Allow your training site to allow you get feedback from your affiliates. Sometimes we might not be 100% correct about what we do, or we just need someone to commend our efforts. If the feedbacks are good, then you are already promoting SFI.

The question is actually - how can they USE Social media to promote SFI?

First thing you should teach them - do not SPAM.
If you make 20 posts, one after the other, it is going to come under the attention of the sites owners and you are going to get SFI and TripleClicks blocked.

Some of the sites - like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest already have paid options - it means you are doing paid advertisements. It would probably be a good investment if you have the money.

If you have your own blog or website it is easier to post of the Social Media sites without getting blocked - unless you start flooding the site with your posts.

I would not open a SFI or TripleClicks page on Facebook - There are pages for them on Facebook already.

Twitter have a number of pages connected to SFI and TripleClicks already. I think it is best to post under my personal Twitter account or to share my blog posts on Twitter. Even posts on my blog, that has nothing to do with SFI or TripleClicks, re-direct people to my blog where they will see banners, gateways and product or ECA adverts for SFI and TripleClicks and when they click on that they are re-directed to SFI or TripleClicks.

"How can I train my team on social media to promote SFI?"

They (and you) must understand the mechanism and dynamics of social media advertising.

Firstly, due to the fact that there are MILLIONS of affiliates trying to promote their own affiliate link, most social media sites blocks both affiliate and cloaked affiliate links. And, secondly, due to loss of revenue for them, they restricts (but not blocks) repeating of the same post, even if it to different pages or groups.

So, how can we get past these restrictions? Well the answer is simple: with a blog or vlog (video blog). As these have mostly unique names (even subsites like Blogger), so it won't be picked up for spamming easily unless you are overdoing it and the internal links are not passed on to the social site.

That sort out the URL issue, but what about the repetitive posting issue? This can be partially solve with a URL-less post. That means you advertise and end it with "INBOX me for more details" and only supply the URL to those who are interested by commenting or sending you a message. You still have to keep your reposting low (maximum of about FIFTY posts a day) or buying advertising from the social site.

Or you can opt for one or more of the networking sites (LinkedIn, ReferralKey, etc.) that actually welcome and encourage you to promote your website URLs for networking purposes.

Use social media yourself to promote your SFI business. Be sure that you have a business page on Facebook and are building a following that is beyond your SFI membership. You can put SFI banners there and give information. Then share what you have done with your downline. Let them know of every posting.

You can use an auto responder to place your messages on several social media platforms such as Facebook, Google, Manta, Linkedin and many smaller ones. Get your information out to as many types and social media that you can. There are a number of different programs that can help you do that, the most popular being Hootsuite. It is free to try.

You can put your members from your own page on your business page to build your market. There are excellent videos on You Tube and many ebooks on this subject you can purchase and read. Several are available on TripleClicks.

Before you can promote social media to your downline, you have to use it yourself. That way you can help them understand and give them a model to follow.

The key to promoting SFI on social media is to pretty much be informed if you are allowed to do so at all and,if you are allowed,in what part or section of the site.For example Facebook doesn't allow reffering members via messages or posting on your timeline because of abuse or,plain and simple,putting and sending your refferal links everywhere you can,which causes bad reputation since it is not what Facebook,Twitter or any other social are intended for.

In my opinion the most common and practical ways to promoting SFI are:

1.Creating your own SFI group for promotion,uploading various information about the basics such as tutorial videos,as well as discuss it on separate posts or forums.

2.You can call each other on Skype,Viber or other sites that allow video calling,which more often than not implies that you are serious about SFI since you are dedicating the considerable amount of time in your day to do so.

1. Let them understand the purpose of the social media so as not to abuse it.
The social media is for interaction and it needs to be so.
2. Let them build relationship first before introducing SFI to anyone.
It is so annoying when people just burst into your privacy and tell you about their business. They are talking to people, they don't know.
Many people do this to me on facebk and i don't even give them face.
3. Let them join related groups on the social media on facebook and linkedin e.g Online groups, business, marketing, entrepreneur, work from home etc to rub minds together and to learn and listen to others in the group before telling people about SFI.
4. By doing 3 above, they can give comments from questions asked by individuals in the group, relating SFI to them if possible.
What people want is to join a program told them by people they trust.
5. With 1-4 in place, they can now begin their advert using the content marketing technique.
6. There are rules and regulations on these social media and they must advertize SFI in a way that their link or profile is not blocked.
