Help them understand that only unless they view SFI as something positive, they are only cheating themselves. SFI is what they make of it. Nobody is responsible for their future except them. Even a diamond has imperfections and we can look hard and flind the flaws in anything. This is because we live in an imperfect world and we have flaws ourself. But there is more good than there is bad and so if we focus on the good, we will as a result have good things in our life.
Ask them if they want to have good things or bad things. Then point out that the people who only see the bad, will only have bad in their life. But the people who see the good in life will have good things as a result. It's just that simple and boils down to our own perspective.
Many times we don't have a clue as to what we should be doing, or who we should imitate. This is because we normally conform to our external environment. The positive people become successful because they see the world through a different lens and not only do they focus on the good things, they imitate the people who are successful. A person will not advance if they have a negative attitude, it's just that simple.
We need to choose to embrace life. If we are majoring on minors, then the minors will become so big they will defeat us and appear as obstacles in our path. But when we have a positive attitude, the minors are very small and we can simply hop over them on our way to the gold mine! We need to let go and embrace every moment whether it has an obstacle or an opportunity. We have to stop focusing and fussing over trivial matters and begin focusing on what is really important.
