Thank you for your question because it is one that I don't remember seeing before now. I agree that follow ups can be used successfully but I try not to overdo them because I don't want to seem to be a pest. That would defeat the purpose.
I wait a few days after the first welcome message and see if the new PSA is logging into SFI. If they are active but hasn't pursued fast track, I sent a message to let them know that it is only available for a limited time. I include the fact that it is very important if they are serious about their SFI business. I tell them that I didn't realize how important it was and lost my first opportunity. I was given a second chance when SFI restructured the program and I am now a silver fast track member.
I check my mover's list daily and if the PSA has been active but has missed three days, I will send an ecard to see if they need help. I am blessed with an awesome sponsor who has always been available to his team and is always willing to help. I want to follow his example and to make sure that my team knows that I will be there for them.
I also believe that it is important to acknowledge my teams achievements by sending ecards. I don't know of anyone who would object to a pat on the the back for a job well done. I also try to send birthday and anniversary cards.
The main follow up and I believe the most important one is to always respond promptly to requests from your team and to always be honest with them.
