Thank you for posting your question. Without communication, duplication is very hard, if not impossible. So you are definitely right in that good communication with our team is indeed vital.

I personally think you are better at writing then you give yourself credit for. However, if you really do not write very well, as in you're not able to clearly articulate what your wanting to express, then here is a really super easy exercise you can do each day to help you get better:

1. Read and listen as much as you can - this is the best way to train your brain!
For example - English is my second language. My formal education was very poor, but I can speak English thanks to movies and TV shows. Btw, now I speak Spanish too. :)

It works the same way with writing skills. You just have to listen and read the right things.

2. Every time you chat with your PSAs and with your friends (in any occasion), try to avoid slang, watch your spelling and grammar,

It is true that communication is very important in everything, including your business. Written communication is vital here. Writing is something you can learn, just like anything else. One of the main ways to learn how to write is to read often. See examples of good writing and learn from them. Take notes if you must.

Another way to learn how to write is to practice. Learning by doing is the best way to improve your writing skills. When doing this, check your spelling and grammar

Great resources for materials or even re-directing down line members to read good articles is using what has been posted on ASK SC by top authors, Tips tab, Forum tab, Ask Gery - under the Training tab and even items that are posted in the Launch lessons that are available to all affiliates.

The important thing to remember as an affiliaite with SFI, there is no expectation to be a well written affiliate but it is important to be resourceful. As a resourceful affiliate - Team Leader, it

Hi Darla,

I commend you for asking this question, as proficiency with writing skills can be a challenge for many (if not most) people. I personally think that it is less about the writing skills and more about allowing your passion and love for your business and SFI shine through that will reach through to your team.

Keep your script clean (run it through spell-check) and write often sharing your true thoughts and intentions. This will reach your team more than you realize.

Thanks for this question.

To say that you can speak to your Team Members over phone is very easy.

But on a practical note, doing it is not so easy and economical.

As you said communication with our Team is vital in SFI and if we are not good writers it will be difficult to continue here.

Naturally, we should work and develop our writing skills. Even though it can not be done over night, certainly it can be done. Where there is a will, there is a way!

Yes, Having a good communication skill is vital here at SFI or any other place
For that matter, but it is not or has to be on writing alone even if writing take the big part
of it.
You can communicate in so many different ways, Simply a phone call, social media
outlets like skype, Viber, Tango messenger to mention a few.

But since writing is essential, practice is a good method of self improvement.

Learning how to write well is similar to learning any other skill: practice, practice, practice. Of course, you have to make sure you are following a good pattern so your practice will be productive. And this is where you need to do some research.

What kind of writing style appeals to you? That will be the first indication of what kind of writer you want to be. If you prefer a more formal approach, then perhaps some academic blogs on the internet will help you see how sentences are

Writing is an art and like everything else that requires practice to perfect it, you have to start somewhere. Not everyone can be a writer but that does not mean that you cannot be enterprising enough to put down your thoughts simply enough to get your team members to understand you. It starts with the basics which include grammar, vocabulary, how to construct your sentences well and, to emphasize, keep the message as simple as possible.

Writing is a language which needs to be understood
