Leaders Motivate: Every business has its difficulties, but leaders do not get discouraged easily. Those who have SFI leadership qualities know how to motivate people. They are positive people who continuously motivate their members in achieving their goals. They know that their own disappointment will demotivate people who are working with or under them. They know that their own success is dependent upon the performance of those who work under them and never miss an opportunity to encourage their team members. To be successful in SFI, what attributes do you need the people on your team to have?

I think the most important attribute to be successful in SFI or any online business has to be a belief that the system will/can work. We don't want to have to waste time convincing a skeptic that an online business is possible and that affiliate marketing programs are not pyramid schemes. If I have to explain that SFI is not a pyramid scheme, I don't bother with that particular person any more.

Our team members need to have faith that they will reap what they sow and faith that the business can provide them with an income if they stick at it long enough.
Therefore our team must be people who are diligent, persistent and perseverant who will not give up after only 6 months, but be willing to put in the hard yards for a couple of years before necessarily seeing much reward.

Other important attributes are self motivation and organisational ability.
People who need someone else to tell them what to do and when to do it are not suited to run their own businesses. They need a job and a boss to give direction. So our team members need to be self starters. Team members also need to be able to organise their time and daily activities to make room for SFI. They need to be able to plan their time and tasks without having someone to be accountable to. Being a procrastinator is very bad for business.

I believe that the most important value you need to instill in your team if they are to become successful in SFI is : education. There are various facets of education and some of these are listed for your introspection.

1 Education:

This means having a team that is able to understand that this is an online business and not a 9 to 5 "job". It needs the ability to change the mindset from one of an employee to one that becomes an employer.

2 The will to change an attitude

This probably is a very crucial element of a successful individual and team. Being able to change the way you interpret ideas and still remain flexible to take risks cannot be done if you have a rigid way of looking at a new concept.

3. Self-Motivation

People who are goals-oriented do not need a push to achieve. Take athletes who start developing skills in a particular sport. When they are younger, their motivation and drive is set by the support of their parents or a coach who see the potential in a child to reach limits of excellence that are sometimes, hard to anticipate. As adults, to reach the peak in their performance, being self-motivated creates opportunities that drives the individual to want to achieve. Without the drive, your team members will always exhaust your valuable energy.

4. Not Giving Up

I believe that this attribute plays a vital role in any area of one's life, SFI is no exception. A business whether online or offline has its share of "lows" and this reality is likely to get most people disillusioned, on the verge of packing up. You need affiliates who accept that this is one of the most important lessons to learn in a business. If they give up, there is nothing to look forward to.

Your team members need....

1. Persistence.
A successful business owner wants to keep going not quit.

2. Patience.
An intelligent decision to understand that being successful will take time.

3. Plan of Action for both short term goals and long term goals.
Without goals folks lose motivation.

These three add up to productivity. Your team that is producing results is all you need to be successful.

What attributes do you have? You are still here, working building your business. That means you have what is needed - not so?

Your affiliates need to be determined to make a success of this business.

They need to be motivated - why are they doing this? When they loose hope You need to remind them of the reasons they joined in the first place and they need to remind themselves about their motivation. They need to be self motivated.

They need to be hunger for success. Think about it this way. Who would be the most successful and determined hunter - the king sitting on the throne getting fed without having to do anything or the guy starving out in the street?

They need to be positive and optimistic and find the silver lining in the darkest storm. Theu are more likely to hold out and not give up but rather find a way around obstacles. A pessimistic negative person will give up at the first obstacle that comes across their path.

Thinking outside the box is also a good thing and if you are not by nature a creative thinker you need to seek help and advice from others that views life in a different way. Some people do not just think outside the box, they kick the box to smithereens - nothing will hold them back and they are here, at SFI, willing and able to help

Anybody wanting to make a success here can not know the meaning of giving up - that word and words like quitting is not in their vocabulary.

You need to be persistent - keep going, keep on advertising to make sales, keep on recruiting and whatever you do do not stagnate. If one approach does not work you have to try something else.

To be successful in any business, not only in SFI, you have to surround your self with people who:

- know when to stay and when to leave,
- do more than what’s asked of them,
- are willing to fail in order to eventually succeed,
- know that they make their own luck,
- set real goals that they can accomplish,
- take accountability for themselves and their actions,
- make change instead of being affected by it,
- are able to adjust to changes in the marketplace,
- can communicate their story effectively,
- ask the right questions to the people who can deliver the right answers,
- are life-long learners who push themselves out of their comfort zones,
- know who they are and their place in the world,
- are more excited about the journey than the pay out.

Those people ignore get rich quick schemes. They are more focused on building
sustainable careers through hard work, risk taking and creativity. They enjoy the journey,

Good question.Here in SFI, a strong team guarantees success. But what are the definitions? Here some of my tips to this respect.

#1, demonstrates reliability. A team leader can count on a reliable team members who gets work done and does his fair share to work hard and meet commitments. Consistency is key. You can count on him or her to deliver good performance all the time, not just some of the time.

#2, communicates constructively. Team members need to share their thoughts and ideas clearly, directly, honestly in a positive, confident, and respectful manner.

#3, functions as an active participation. A good team members are those who fully engaged in the work of the team and do not sit passively on the sidelines.

Thank you for your question, "To be successful in SFI, what attributes do you need the people on your team to have?". I think that the first attribute that team members need is patience. SFI is not a get rich quick scheme and success doesn't come overnight.
The next attribute needed is a willingness to learn. There is a lot of material that needs to be read and understood. This goes hand-in-hand with the first attribute of patience. If your team member is serious about SFI, they will be willing to take the time necessary to learn from the Launch Pad lessons and the Rules of Success. I stress to my team members that the knowledge that they gain from this forms the foundation on which their business is built. The greater the knowledge, the firmer the foundation will be.
I think that the next attribute is enthusiasm. If you aren't enthuastic about SFI and the great opportunity it is, how are you going to convince anyone else to join? Make sure that your attitude matches your words. Excitement is catching.
Another attribute is determination. When you are determined to succeed, you will find a way to overcome any obstacle that stands between you and the goal that you need to reach to achieve success. You never give up! When you make a mistake, you learn from it so that you won't repeat it.
