You must understand the job or role of a Sponsor, simply put your sponsor is your teacher. So the job of being a Sponsor is to help you get started on SFI by giving you the SFI basics article but on your part you have to take your time to read and take notes and review until you understand well. So what am I saying? Is that your sponsor can only provide assistance but they cannot do the work for you. So as an example your sponsor shows you how to complete the getting started actions to help you get

This is your business. not your sponsor's, although you form part of, albeit a very small part of your sponsor's business. Whilst your sponsor has a vested interest in your success, it is only a small one. You may be only one of hundreds or thousands of your sponsor's PSAs. Your success depends on you, not your sponsor's help.

Many affiliates never hear from their sponsor and your sponsor may be like this, unfortunately. However it is likely that your sponsor will take an interest in you

I do not believe you should "rely" on your sponsor. Your sponsor cannot login and do your daily tasks for you. Your sponsor can't make you learn how SFI works. Your sponsor cannot force you to build an SFI business directly. Only you can build your successful SFI business.

What your sponsor can do is

1. Provide guidance when you need it
2. Answer questions that you have
3. Offer you encouragement when you succeed
4. Help you figure out why

Great question.

Many Sponsors are new to affiliate marketing themselves and learning same as you.
Most all are active from the beginning, some not.
It is unfortunate that all affiliates do not have an active sponsor.
But, it is not entirely necessary.

The SFI program provides training, materials and tools for your use.
Even if you have a responsive and helpful Sponsor, you will still have to conduct
your business on your own.
It is up to you to

Whether you have an active sponsor or not, you will benefit most by taking full responsibility for your SFI business. Active sponsors will certainly be of benefit to you. It is indeed good to receive helpful information and to get useful replies to your questions.

If you have an inactive sponsor, not taking full responsibility for your SFI business will get you nowhere. SFI provides everything you need to be successful. You can learn everything you need to know from SFI's training, and

While relying on a sponsor sounds wonderful to help get you started in business, you honestly should view your sponsor more as a resource, than a crutch for your business. If you don't support your business with your own desire, work, and effort, deciding to rely on your sponsor, you could end up with a rather shaky business that won't withstand the test of time.

For this reason, I would suggest that you do not rely on your sponsor to build a successful business. You should rely on the

Your sponsor is there to answer any questions about SFI you may have. They are also there to lead you and give advice on how best to reach a specific goal in SFI.

Some sponsors will do contests to create a little competition in their team. But this is dependent on the sponsor's resources.

Some sponsors provide coops. They should let you know in one form or another whether they do or not.

Personally I don't depend on my sponsor for much of anything. Its my responsibility

Hi Magundu,

I probably understand what would have compelled you to ask this question.

Going by my own experience, when I first joined SFI in 2014, I was totally lost. I heard from my sponsor only a couple of times at the beginning and that was it.

I sent my sponsor a couple of emails for help but no help was coming from there. This non-support from my sponsor made me stronger because I decided to explore a lot of areas and check out the resources in SFI by myself.

To a great extent, success depends on the efforts of the affiliate. Along the way to your destiny, you will come across not just material to read and understand but also people of which one them is of course your sponsor. The sponsor is your first point of contact but there are also other people in your upline including your co-sponsor. Sometimes the relationship between the sponsor and the affiliate is also affected by how one got the sponsor. For example it is possible to have a member of your

Hi Sebastian,

To build a successful SFI business, you should not be relying on your sponsor.
This does not mean that you should not be working with your sponsor if he/she is actively giving you support.

I have been 40 days with SFI and I can count on one hand, the number of contacts I’ve received from my sponsor so far.
I have built my business on my own so far by reading all the information available within SFI, although I did join a2a and made friends with some
