There are numerous samples of welcome letters in the forum and ASKSC; that you can revise and make your own. One of the new ECA's has ten welcome letters you can purchase to use. SFI's default letter has worked well for me.

Other communication can be done using Ecards, and kind words that show you care about the individuals.

You can show love for them by translating your materials into their language so that they can read them easier. The words don't have to be fancy or even

You can be a good supporting sponsor even with broken English. The reason for this is that people look at your profile and find that English is not your native tongue. So they naturally empathize with your situation. Even if Spanish was the native tongue of the affiliate but you speak arabic, anyone can use translation tools. They are not perfect but close enough to build goodwill and trust. The simple fact that you cared enough to answer in the native tongue speaks volumes.

Believe it or not you may be in a better position that you think in communicating. If you believe you are communicating at a basic level, you are doing exactly what you should be doing.

So don't worry about your skills rather focus on whether the person you are communicating with understands.

Here are some simple facts that should help you when you do not know the level of education or fluency of the person receiving your message.

1. Communicate using basic sentence

Hello, Laura;

You are not alone. 90% of the people I encounter are poor communicators, mainly because most of them are concentrating more on what they plan to say next than they are on what the other person is saying to them.

The real secret to good communication is effective listening, or in the case of email communication, reading.

Listen to what your affiliates ask you (or write to you in their emails), and when you respond, first acknowledge that you understand

Even if your communication skills are not up to par, you can still support your team partners via the knowledge that SFI has given us....you can copy the words of our fearless leader, Mr. Carson, as he has already paved the way....

Don't make this hard on yourself.....just copy what has been done previously......you don't need to reinvent the wheel.

This should be the least of your worries if you are already supporting your team by way of sending E cards (which by the way need not have a lot of written content in them) - SFI already provides the basics of the card and even if you say "thank you" your team members understand you perfectly!

E cards is one example.

The stream brings up another opportune way when you need not have a lot of written skills to say what you want simply and in the shortest way possible.

Hi there

When you say your communication skills are not good - do you mean speaking to people or do you mean any and all forms of communication? If it is speaking to people it is not such a big issue - you will be communicating mostly in writing.

In my opinion a very important skill you need to be a good supporting sponsor is great "listening" skills - "listen" to your affiliates, "listen" to what they need. They may not be asking their questions

There are two forms of communication:verbal and written. At SFI sponsors are required to communicate in writing beginning with a welcome letter.

You do not need to communicate verbally to support or be of help to your downline.

You can show support by acknowledging new affiliates promptly, a simple e Card to welcome them so they know you are here and available.

Compose a simple welcome message and save it for your use, this should not be difficult and does not require
