Hi Helen!
You are reading your welcome letter many times. Now it is stale to you. For your new members it is fresh because they are seeing it for the first time. Remember that the training that we get here at SFI is more than 15yrs (17yrs) and is not stale for us because we are getting it for the first time.

Remember that your welcome letter is not the training, so you must keep it short. The new comer has lot of things to do. Don’t consume his/her time by giving him/her a long

SFI has made it straightforward and very practical to welcome a new PSA.

Within the first two days, we get at least, a Notification of a New PSA and the New PSA Recap that provides us whit an accurate count of all new sign-ups in the last 24 hours. That Recap allows us to catch up if we missed the first notification.

Thus, we are fortunate to have several ways for welcoming new additions to our team: the SFI IM, the welcome e-Cards and the welcome letter.

It's good to make sure your welcome message is fresh and up-to-date. I see sometimes in the forum, some affiliates still think you get Fast-Track by collecting 500VP in first 24 hours. so I'm sure they will be putting this out in their welcome message.

Here follows my welcome message. I tried to keep it simple, while giving new affiliates a few steps to get started. If I see they complete the steps I mention, then I get an idea of how serious they are about building their SFI business.

Thanks for this question.

Your first mail to your PSA is the first step towards " Growth and Success" for both of you.

The PSA will be new to this Organization. Naturally, there will be lot of expectations. Once he/she complies with SFI's initial requirements like Commitment Mail, White listing of Mail, etc, etc, you will get a confirmation.

Its precisely at this time that you, as Sponsor should start establishing contact with new entrant.

The basic message should always be the same – Welcome to SFI – I am your sponsor – here is what I do for you – here is how you start – here is how you can contact me anytime. Others bits can be added/removed from time to time but the basic should remain the same.

With these in mind, I regularly reword my welcome message so that it is up to date and I am happy with it. I try to keep it short, warm and bubbly. I want it to be informative and for them to read it and not

Your welcome message is one of the most important tools in growing your SFI business. Through your welcome message your new affiliates form their first impression about you as Sponsor in joining your organization.

How to refresh your welcome message and keep it interesting as well?

- Your welcome message must be clear, easy to read and should include a short introduction about you as their Sponsor and expression of your genuine interest in supporting them.

- Your

I understand exactly what you mean when you say you feel it is stale but before I go any further I want to remind you that it might feel stale to you and I but to our affiliates it is brand new.

I get bored with things like that very quickly. I first tried using the standard letter but by the 10th one I send out I hated it.

I changed my strategy - I start off with a welcome e-card, which is fun and short and sweet. I do not send copies of welcome messages to the affiliates,

Your welcome message (unless it conveys outdated or erroneous information) is stale only to you! Remember, everyone who reads it is seeing it for the first time, except you.

Giving it a tweak now and then is always a good idea, however, because what might work for one person could be all wrong for another. Since you asked for examples, here is one that I like very much.

With the so many information that we need to convey to our new PSAs, I focused my welcome message to explain briefly the 5 important tasks that a new affiliate need to do to achieve SFI success: 1) Log in every day and accomplish the To-Do list actions; 2) Be a Fast-Track member; 3) Earn minimum 1,500 VP and become an EA; 4) Advertise your SFI & TripleClicks business; and 5) Become a Team Leader, teach, and duplicate.

Here is my sample letter:
