While many of us like to be creative, our successful SFI business is based on Duplication. We have a very extensive training manual with SFI. If we read and learn it, follow the instructions and become part of the tradition of SFI success stories, then we will want our Team members to also follow what we do.

Actually, we as humans, do follow our leaders. We follow our parents very closely, whether we respect and love them or not. For example: do you like mayonnaise or Miracle Whip? If you yell at your kids, did your parents yell at you? Did they show kindness or temper? And what do you show?

The point being is that your PSAs will copy what they see you doing. If you want them to go off track with their own systems, then by all means show them that you are not following the proven track of SFI training. If you want them to follow the tried and true SFI method of doing business, then learn how to make it work for you and let them see you using it.

There are several advantages to teaching duplication by using SFI methods.
1) If they are using SFI methods, then they are all doing the same thing and you have an idea about what they are doing.
2) If all SFIers use the same SFI methods, then it is safe to ask for help on the Forum, a2a, and any of your upline.
3) While some creative people have a real knack for organization and follow-through, there are many who just want to go off on their own and do not think things through. When they fail they blame you or SFI.

This is a very good question.. In my opinion, I will not stick strictly to using SFI's system but I will add some of my own touches and strategies such as the following:

1- Set up a business email that is used only for advertising SFI and TripleClicks.

2- Advertise the links of your gateways in different sites. Add a special number to your link to know where is the best place that generate new affiliates.

3- Post your ads during the most active hours of the day, the time when most people you target are active on the Internet. I realised from the statistics of my site that Tuesday is the best day and mid day is the special time to attract new affiliates.

4- Place Ads on related categories such as Business Opportunities, Work At Home, Home Business.
Write them in search engines and find suitable sites.

5- Create your free and professional-looking image ads at:
www.adwords.google.com

6- Create a website or a blog. Even a simple website is a source for listing your Ads. Write in the search engine: how to make a free blog and earn money. Build your blog for free and advertise SFI

7- The objective of your ads should be to move people from awareness to like and trust.. You should be honest in every thing you write and say.

8- The design of your ads should catch people attention and compel them to click.

9- If you don’t want to create your own ads, use the ads of SFI banners and flyers.

Yes. SFI has been in the business for more than 17 years. All tools provided here has been tested and proven over the years. Why do we want to invent in something we are not sure or good at, with no guarantee that it would be successful? SFI has taken all the necessary steps to ensure smooth usage by its affiliates. With better successful rate.

No. You should not stick strictly to SFI 's system, when it comes your marketing strategies. Use the existing tools, but YOUR creativity and ways to attract visitors or sign-ups to your website, blogs, social media adverts, etc. It is normal that people like to receive a 'gift' in exchange for their 'action', so Gift Card, Gift Certificate, e-books for example, would be a good 'offer' in your marketing strategies.

In all, affiliates should be using all available marketing tools and methods provided by SFI, but use your own creativity and ways to ensure higher successful rate instead of re-invent something new that may NOT be good enough to help you progress.

There are many different “systems” incorporated within the building of your SFI and TripleClicks business. Such as:

1. Marketing
2. Communication
3. Team building through duplication
4. ECA ownership and referred ECAs
5. Training methods
6. Games and Auctions
7. Power tools

Every system listed above has been tested and tried by the Administration leaders of SFI and TripleClicks. I personally believe that what has been made available for us to freely use will bring the best desired benefits for those who use them properly.

However we are encouraged to personalize the systems as long as we do not break any of the rules and regulations set forth by SFI and TripleClicks.

Explore, test and have fun with your business – if there is something really different you would like to try I would suggest you send a full explanation to Support along with the way you intend to use your personal touches and strategies. This way you would get the why or why-not your system would work.

SFI's system is unique and very successful if followed to a T but there are things you can learn to augment what you learn with SFI.

A great example would be niche marketing which is touched on in George Little's Internet Income Course under your training tab. Niche marketing and Niche Keyword research are a vast topic that no one site can explore all thoughts on. I pay $359 a year for a site that teaches me niche blogging and despite having 12 years as a niche blogger and having made thousands of dollars using blogs for marketing I am learning a ton from that service I didn't know.

Likewise you might need to focus on Adword Advanced tactics or study and implement a course on list building and e-zine writing or article marketing. I know you can definitely expand on what is taught in regards to social media marketing as each network is different and the tips on SFI are general and need fine tuned.

You need to focus on the core of the training but never stop expanding your understanding on each element taught at SFI. I personally like my blog training system because I am learning to write amazing reviews that will help promote TripleClicks items and grow my income by allowing me to generate more funds I can use for advertising and tools.

Don't ever limit yourself to learning a book when you have a library at your fingertips.

SFI supplies it's affiliates with state-of-the art marketing materials plus the education needed to use them.

However, just using what is supplied doesn't leave any room for your own imagination.

You would want to use both, in my opinion. Once you have your own website or blog you can use what SFI provides along with your own touches to make it attractive to potential affiliates (PSA's) and ECA's.

You can design your own pages and posts to portray your own thoughts and feelings. You can invite others to join SFI and start your own list for future marketing. The sky is the limit!

One word of warning - carefully read the rules about advertising for SFI - there are some clear boundaries to this and you do not want to get in a situation where you are at cross purposes.

Otherwise, have fun with it!

In my experience, there is no need to fix something that is not broken. You can learn all you need to be an effective marketer from SFI training from people who have been there and done it. I find that most people want a end all be all solution to their marketing needs and that just does not exists. Everyone has a different work ethic, budget, and other circumstances that will affect how well your marketing does. The key to getting the most out of any system is to execute consistently with frequency over time making appropriate adaptation to fit your needs along the way. That's the beauty of SFI system.

The compensation plan and marketing strategies taught are very flexible. If you have a large budget, then you can take advantage of several shares of the S-builder and do well over time. But if not, then you can sign up for as many free traffic resources as you can handle and track for performance. You have to remember that you have to differentiate yourself from the crowd so you need to brand yourself and become an authority to your team. If they don't see you as a leader that they trust it is difficult to get duplication.

In conclusion, the simplified basics are solid. If you practice so that you can become proficient at sponsoring, referring, and duplication then why settle for anything else? Too many SFI affiliates complicate the plan. Truly it is as simple as monkey see, monkey do. It is inexpensive in comparison to other online opportunities and they usually don't even pan out. SFI's marketing plan, compensation plan, and the SFI Basics are all you need.

This is your business and it is you who devise your strategy based on the goals you want to pursue, so it is expected you add your own touches in conformity with your objectives. However, there are some aspects of SFI tools/system that are restricted to tweaking like banners and text ads. For you to be able to add your personal touches to text ads for example, you have to seek permission from SFI and must be at least a STL.

This means you have may wiggle room to manoeuvre in some other aspects like face-face prospecting and team building. SFI gives various guidelines in some aspects of this business and like I said, they are guidelines, so you may want to tweak those and make them more directly relevant to your objectives.

Some affiliates have their own website for the purpose of taking control of the way they want to run their respective SFI businesses, by applying their own strategies and giving it their personal touches in order to personalise them for achieving their individual objectives. It is important to point out that there are guidelines provided by SFI which your are expected to incorporate in running your personal SFI website for carrying out your SFI business.

Also, you can decide to create your own system you are comfortable with in as much as it is real and frankly represents what SFI stands for. There is nothing wrong to work your team members for example, through a simplified system or a success plan from day one. A system is better to the extent that it can be adjusted to suit different scenarios or applied to overcome immediate and future challenges faced by its affiliates, so several tools/sub-systems here are neither sacrosanct nor silver bullet to solving the all problems.

As you can see, SFI provides some tools and has a predefined business concepts, however, there is nothing wrong in your own style, incorporating your system and touches where allowed, provided you do it professionally and not to bring the integrity of SFI into disrepute because a soiled finger spoils the rest.

SFI is trying its best to provide its affiliates all the tools to succeed in this business. My advice is be sure to learn them first.

Here are the reasons why we need to learn SFI resources first.

1. They are the acceptable practice in SFI.

There are many affiliates who are suspended in SFI because of malpractice. So be familiar first with the acceptable practices of SFI before you launch on your own strategies.

2. You may end up working on something that is already given in SFI.

SFI has a comprehensive methodologies covered on its training resources, so do need to reinvent the wheel if its already there.

3. SFI methodologies are already proven by many internet marketers themselves. Our president himself, Gery is a veteran internet marketer.

With this description and from this understanding, there is nothing you can add with "your touches and strategies".

B. Your question can be understood, though, as you are pointing to the methodology of promoting SFI, Tripleclicks, Pricebenders and the Eager Zebra games, and whether you should add your own ideas and your own strategies when you are sponsoring and selling.

The answer to that part is "yes".

(a) On the one hand, SFI is striving to keep current of most the highly effective and marketing tools availables online. We are getting new tools all the time. One recent example is the gateway "JointMyTeam", the introduction of the "Eager Zebra", earlier in 2014, etc.

If you effectively use all the tools and resources available within SFI, you will be highly successful.

(b) However, that does not mean that SFI rushes to incorporate any and every new marketing tool that comes out in the online marketing world. It is not necessary to do so.
Hence, if you find one that you like and you want to try, nothing prevents you from do so. Just make sure that you have done enough checks and tests to ensure the reliability of such tools and new ideas before wasting too much of your time and resources.

(c) One word of caution and realism, if I may:

In many cases, it may not be very productive to try to reinvent the wheel. If you go through all the various sections in the (i) marketing, (ii) reference, (iii) training, and (iv) power tools, you might be hard pressed to find anything else to add. Trying to be original and inventive may not always be worth it.

(d) Launchpad lesson 6 is one of those I would like to use as a reminder for everybody who is focused on being successful. Its title is "Central to your success".

If you do the homework assignment in that lesson every day, and you apply the tips, information, and knowledge you acquire this way, I doubt that you would find something to add.
