Which is better and why...to contact my PSAs through SFI (e.g. PSA Mailer) or directly via their email address?

I learned a silent lesson from a Moderator that I befriended a few years ago. And that lesson was to use all available methods of contacting an affiliate. Without using social media, just regular eMail and all the ways that SFI provides, it keeps an affiliate on his toes.

Just think, we have:
the Team Mail from the Genealogy,
the eCards from their Profiles,
the PSA or CSA Mailer from Power Tools,
the Stream from the Home Page,
the Contact Seller from TripleClicks

I prefer an initial contact via SFI, preferably through an eCard, then respond to that via my email. I usually include "...feel free to contact me at:.......com for further questions or problems." That leaves the door open for whichever method makes them more comfortable, email or SFI.

Why? I am more comfortable within that which is more known to me, and I do not need to worry about how many words I put. Sometimes a conversation requires a more lengthy explanation, depending

One of the things that set SFI to a higher standard compared to other Internet marketing companies is the ability to communicate several different ways with the affiliates in our teams.

The Stream system is for those times when you need to send a short news blast or an uplifting quote and recognition notices to our PSAs, (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) or our CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates) or send the message to both groups or send your message to only your team members on

Hi Ranea Masaeed,

Thank you for your question.

It all depends on the system availability.
Both are good ways.
I like sending through SFI Mailer reason being it has that professionalism where we have that caption at the bottom of each letter sent to show that we have SFI support.

Sending through your email to their email address is good also but there has to be a little trust associated with it. Does the receiver trust you to send letters in her email address

Two way communications is very important in a business where you are dealing with people and their motivation levels are of very high importance to you.

One - on - One would be the best method but as most of the affiliates are too far to be dealt this way, so mailing them is the option. Once a rapport is built skype is the best way to communicate with them.

Here both are important methods and should be applied in conjunction. PSA mailer provides you the facility to mail a common

Both methods are equally important. You should be using both. The method you choose should be based upon the type of message and the citation.

You should not limit yourself to one way because the more channels of communication you initiate with PSAs will increase your chances of interacting with them.

Whenever you receive new PSAs you should send them a Welcome Letter from your email account. The best and most efficient method of starting this process would be from the Affiliate

Important thing is that we need to communicate regularly, we need to keep in touch. Either by PSA/team mail, E-cards, Tips cards, chat, personal call or personal mail.

Depending on the requirement and situation we need to decide what kind of a communication method we should choose.

1. When we are communicating to the entire team on a common subject PSA or team mail would be preferable which saves time, strain and stress.
2. We can use E-cards to congratulate or to give

Hi my dear affiliate friend,

Your question is very important why because in SFI it's very important to have communication with down-line affiliates. It's all about people involvement. The best way to communicate with our down-line PSAs or CSAs is sending mails to them.

Coming to your question both ways are good for communicating with PSa/CSA. But some difference exists in between these two ways regarding effectiveness of it.

Hello, Rania,
Both systems of communication with your PSAs are excellent, with the following advantages:--
1. With PSA Mailer System: This directly identifies your SFI Status to your PSA; and since it's through the SFI Mailing system which cannot be forged, it also shows the genuineness of your SFI Affiliate Membership which your PSA can cross-check independently through his/her own Affiliate Membership Page. So, your PSA is at rest of mind that he/she is not receiving any form of SPAM

The best answer here is "both".

For mass mailing like my weekly newsletters I much prefer the Genealogy Mailer. It adds a touch of privacy as well as team identity to the mailing. It also yields 30 VP each week. Always a plus! Also it eliminates the inevitable bounced email addresses that will occur as your team increases in size. Of course it can always be personalized with the ~FIRSTNAME~ tag so it is a little less cold than just "hello team."
