In an attempt to answer your question, I assume you have a blog, so I will not explain how to create one, however, in case you do not have any you can create one at blogger.com or wordpress.com.

When your blog is set, below are steps to follow to install a banner on a blog created at blogger.com but may be adapted for blogs created in other platforms like WordPress etc:

1. On your blog home page click on the drop down menu and select layout

2. A new window opens, scroll down and click on Choose a Gadget

3. On the smaller window displayed, click on HTML/Java Script to open a new window

4. This new window is where you Configure HTML/Java Script, including title and content sections, so give a title to your banner and the content area is where you will paste the banner code, so leave it open for later.

5. Go to the SFI Marketing Aid link below and choose a banner of your choice, out of the 105 available. You may want to reduce the search by choosing a particular Program.

6. Click on the banner to see a preview and in a box below is the HTML code which is embedded with your SFIID, copy this code.

7. Go back to step 4 and paste the code in the the Content section you left opened before your trip to SFI and click Save.

8. At this stage your are done pasting the banner so the next steps is how to get the 100 VP, so click on View blog to display your blog url in the address bar.

9. Copy this url and head straight for your VP Ledger, click on the action; '100 For installing a TripleClicks banner on your personal Website or blog.'

10. Paste your blog url at the requested place in the window that opens and it is done, YIPPEE!!!

Yes, it also caused a problem for me in the beginning!
But it is not as complicated as it seems!
First, look for the header Marketing,then Marketing AIDS.
Select in the program: SFI, or Tripleclicks.
Click on your choice Banner.
Copy and paste the HTML code into your own Website or Blog.
That's all. When you're done, just copy it to the appropriate place on the SFI site your blog address.
If you did everything well, it will soon get your 100 VP-s!

Installing an SFI or TrippleClicks banner on the website is very difficult at the beginning.
Anyway, almost everything is difficult at the beginning.
But when you learn how to do it, it is as easy as ABC..
This is how you do it:
1. Open the banner that you want to save from SFI
2. Save the banner on your computer
3. Upload the image onto the blog / website
4. Copy the image link from SFI onto the space that is marked description on your website / blog
5. Save the image on your blog
6. Publish it
7. Then copy your website or blog name aka url
8. Paste this url on the section in the TO DO List section and voila, you will be awarded the 100 VP

If you do not have a website, create one for free using Avatar64.in

Then repeat the process above.

Go there and click on ‘The Marketing Aids, choose what you want to promote and select the appropriate Banner at ‘Type.’

Select your banner. You can preview the banner you have selected by clicking ’preview’ in blue under the banner.

Copy the HTML code of the banner just above the previewed picture. Do not copy the picture itself.

Now go to your blog and login. Paste the HTML code of the banner where you want it on your blog. Make sure you follow instructions given to you by your provider.

There's a feature on Blogger where you can embed banners onto your blog. Go to the Marketing Aids page, choose which banner you like, and copy the HTML code. Go to www.blogger.com and open up your blog. Click the number of pageviews you have on it, then go to "Layout" on your left-hand side. Click on "Add A Gadget," then click on HTML/JavaScript. Paste the HTML Code that you copied from the Marketing Aids page, add a little headline for your banner, then click "Save." You'll have installed an SFI and/or TripleClicks banner on your blog. ;)

Adding a banner to your Blogger pages can be useful in generating advertising revenue, PRMs and PSAs for your blog, or for featuring your own products and services more prominently.

You can create the option yourself with a minor edit to your blog's HTML code or by going to https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/MarketingCenter to get a code. If you only want to add an image banner in place of your blog title or behind the title in the header area, the process is much simpler, and requires no code editing.

Step 1
Sign in to your Blogger account and click the name of your blog to access its administrative controls.

Step 2
Select the "Template" tab, and then click "Edit HTML" to access the code that controls your blog's layout.

Step 3
Paste the banner widget code you copied from SFI page into the Description field. where "ImageURL" represents the link to your image file: <img src="ImageURL+xxxxxxxx">. Where xxxxx is your referral code

Step 4
Click "Save" to return to the Layout screen, and then click "View Blog" to see your new banner.

In case you are finding it hard to do this on your blog page, write your HTLM correctly with HTML editor and the insert the banner ULR from SFI into the part where you'd like to have the banner.

Save the HTML as xxxx.htlm into a folder., incase you have used Notepad. Then open the file in the folder with a browser, check if the banner is in a correct position the copy the whole page from you browser and paste into your blog. And thats how you get your banner into your blog.

step 1 log in to sfi

step 2 go to marketing tab >> Marketing aid

step 4 log in to your blog admin word press or what ever site admin panel you have and find a place that it allow you can paste code like wordpress it is easy go to widget and paste it in text code area..hope you know how to use widgets,,simply add the code that you can add it some where say embedding,,easy is text embed area ok

Some blogs will not allow advertising so check the terms of service first. Posting banners and text on your own Website vary among Web hosts. So you might need to check with your website host. This is the general way that most websites use.
To install an SFI or TriplrClicks banner on your blog, first go here:
https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/MarketingCenter?form=MarketingAids. Chose the banner that you want to use. Click it, then copy the code that will appear. It will come with your SFI ID.
Go to your blog. Pick the HTML code box. Place it where you want your banner to be. Paste the banner code that you copied into the HTML box. After pasting it, you can then add your tracking code in it so that you can track it. Then you can click 'ok', 'submit', 'done' or whatever that is the to complete your installation. That's it, it's done!

Go to the Blogs Homepage where you can see the basic information about your Blog.In the page icon (located on the left side from ‘View blog’ button) choose ‘Layout’ from the pulldown menu. (Scroll down to find it).A new window will be opened, click on the link named: ‘Add a Gadget’. Again a new window will be opened. Scroll down until you find the gadget: ‘HTML/Javascript’ and select it. A new (and last) window will opened.As a ‘Title’ you can write Banner or leave it blank (recommended). In the ‘Content’ field you can paste the banner code (pick any of SFIs codes for banners) copied from SFI. Make sure you copy it correctly. If you missed a character your banner will not work. Visit the Marketing Center for all the banners SFI offers for your marketing and promotion. Click SAVE.After you saved the Banner Gadget you can arrange it on your blog by click and hold it to drag it to the desired spot on your SFI blog.

I've noticed many answers have given the general answer, but I learned that if you are looking to install a banner on your blog for VP go to this link: https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/MyReports/VPLedger and scroll down to intermediate actions. Click the link to add the banner to your blog for VP and it will give you several options for banners for your blog that you can use. Take your pick, install, and go back to the link if you're having problems with having your VP added to your account. It tell you what you need to do fix that problem.
