Is it wise to offer non-SFI related incentives to my CSAs and PSAs? For example, create a standing order and get a free DVD?

I would say no to offering non-SFI related incentives.

If you are offering your CSAs and PSAs SFI related incentives then you are all going to win. Remember we are all pushing duplication and so you want to offer them something that will not only help them but will help you as well.

For example I give free entry into my co-ops as an incentive. While this helps the affiliate it helps me as well.

If my affiliates get their signups to make it to EA2 then I am going

Intriguing question this one.

My immediate response was to say "No. Definitely not." But having given it some thought, I believe there could indeed be benefits from this.

It depends on the DVD (or other means of reward) you are using. I think if it was motivational items (DVD's or books), or informative media, then absolutely yes. I see no harm in that, in fact it could be very useful. I know I could certainly do with hand up in learning how to manage a business,

It’s not wise and advisable to offer any non-SFI related incentives to members of SFI.

This will create an expectation to get something for everything to be done.
This attitude will develop in them a hesitation when they are dealing with their down lines and so on. Because everyone could not afford to offer these kind of incentives to encourage their down lines.

Instead we can offer or assist them with S-Builder Co-op, a gift certificate or TCredits when they need to

Generally, it is good to offer incentives to your Affiliates for achieving a particular milestone in SFI. The purpose of incentive is to motivate your downline to achieve something and thus get a reward from you.

Really, incentives should be SFI related. It should be something that would boost their rank, perks or income when they earn it. Think of SFI related incentive like Gift Certificate, Free PSA, S-Builder share TCredits etc. These incentives are business building and help the whole

Dear Theodore,

Doing anything or offering anything that works towards achievement of your desired goal is wise and good. Then it may me a Non-SFI related product/incentive such as an e-book or a DVD or a book for doing certain thing on SFI or achieving any said goal in SFI.

An incentive is offered to a person who is non-active otherwise with a hope that perhaps that incentive would try to push him hard to perform certain desired action, but as we always desire him to work for

This question is like a sword with two edges.
Can turn out fine for you,but also can turn out to be bad decision.

What do I mean by that?

I can agree on that when the new affiliate comes to SFI that can be not-so-well informed about the whole thing,how it goes,how it works...and stuff like that.It can be pretty overwhelming to them to "take" the who thing all at once.In situation like that they may need some kind of push to do some things,even they don't completely

Thanks for this question.

No. certainly not.

Help them to grow by:

1. Guiding;
2. Encouraging;
3. Teaching (where necessary)

so that they will be able to know everything about:

1. SFI;
2. Opportunities available to earn;
3. Means to gather VersaPoints;

You can inspire them by your Performance & Achievements; For, a leader leads by his own example.

Then comes MOTIVATING them.

This you

And then I create a SO, get my DVD and cancel my SO again..

Hello world :)

I wrote the first sentence JUST to show that bribing PSAs or CSAs never ends up good..
You are creating dependency then.. I know you did not talk about bribes but that is the first "feeling" I got when I read the question..

All you can and should do is offer your help to serious people.
If some PSA (or maybe even CSA) is shy a few points at the end of the month and you KNOW

I take it that when you say "non-SFI related incentives" you are referring to those items that do not help build up you affiliates SFI businesses.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with offering those kind of incentives, however I would say that it would be more wise to offer incentives that would help your affiliates build up their businesses- Eg S Builders, promotion campaigns, website, affiliate reassignment, PSA to Go etc.. If for example you offer a DVD as an incentive, it

Generally, I would say no to this question. When you give SFI related items for incentive you are promoting your own business and teaching them a model they can follow to both you and them. If you send them unrelated items that you might have available such as a DVD that you have laying around the house, they wouldn't have this opportunity unless they passed on the DVD. Still you are not earning from your activity.

If you are purchasing items outside of SFI to send, you are spending money
