To become a great salesperson, you need "the gift of the gab" which I haven't unfortunately. This means you need to be a good speaker, you need to be convincing in your sales pitch.

I am severely lacking in this regard and so need another way to overcome this.

One way is to go through your PRM list and issue a $5 gift certificate to as many as you can afford. Hopefully they will spend this money and perhaps add a bit of their own as well thus boosting your

First, build upon proven relationships, that is; stay in touch via affiliate emails, deliver an article of interest to your down-line, or any form of communications that lets all participants know that you are still thinking of them on constant bases.

Ways of selling via the Internet are different from direct sales. The shop assistant in the store on the basis of mimic of your facial muscles and movement knows what to say to you and how you sell the goods. The shop assistant make conversation with you and if he has good negotiating skills he will convince you to buy the goods.

I'm following all the answers to this question since it came up.

It's one of the most arguable statement, are salespeople born or made.

Anyone is born to do sales or whatever they want to do, it is how the person development were when they grow up that will make or break you.

The first thing that any person that want to go into sales have to learn is that people buy products or services and you are the one that have to develop yourself in mastering the game.

Network with other Saleswomen...ask questions....you must have a bit of a thick skin and not take things too personally. And you must be patient. Sales is a numbers game....lots of times you will hear a LOT of No's before you get a few yes'. You must persevere. If you give up, you obviously wont sell anything. And you MUST believe in your product. If you don't believe and want the product you are selling, how could you expect anyone else to want this product from you?!
