Your own website or blog is best long term.

With your own self hosted blog on a domain name you own you can educate people looking at SFI about the program and even start their training before they join. This is called pre-selling and it increases the join rate and more than triples the chances your referrals will do well in SFI.

You can build an e-mail list. This is a great chance to give a free gift and build trust in you and SFI. Instead of readers visiting your site once the newsletter will bring them back every time you add new content. If you choose a blog or blog based website most autoresponders have rss to e-mail as an option so all you have to do is add a post to your blog and it will e-mail all your contacts, making this a set and forget tool. You can even use it to deliver a free report or e-mail series to walk the reader through their first 30 days in SFI.

Building links and getting ranked in search engines.

The biggest benefit is that if your blog is a source of great articles and media like videos and images it will soon get ranked by search engines and other blogs and websites will site it as a source and people will click your social sharing buttons building hundred or thousands of links.

Every link is a new way into you blog from another site that recommends your site as an authority in it's niche. Every article you write is like adding a door on a business road that drives traffic into your shop. You can have unlimited doors.

When these doors reach pages 1 or 2 on Google for popular search terms you will see limitless targeted traffic.

No affiliate gateway gives you any of those benefits. JMT is a great place to follow up once the conversation is started in your blog or through your e-mail list but stand alone it is one page that won't get indexed, won't benefit from search engines, and you have no way to connect with the viewers who don't go ahead and sign up.

This really depends on the type of ad, and where you are placing the ad.

For example, the new JMT gateway is best served using a site where people already know you. They get to see your photo, what you've achieved, and a general description of SFI. If they know and trust you, then this can be a very compelling landing page to convince somebody to sign up. In this case, your ads should be pointing to your blog, and from there they can continue on to your JMT Gateway.

On the other hand, if you want to advertise the PB Auctions, then the ads should go directly to the PB gateway. Same for the TC ads, they should also go to the gateway for TC. If you direct them to a blog, then they may feel tricked, and that you're trying to mislead them.

Your advertising efforts should have a reason for being done. Don't just blindly throw up ads and hope for the best. Think about what you would expect if you read the ad, and were interested to know more.

I personally use both methods, when place an ad on a site that allows the use of gateway SFI, when placed in sites that do not allow it, I put a link to my site with the explanation of the work in SFI.

How successful is your own webpage / blog? Do you get a lot of traffic? If you do advertise your gateways on your own page.

If you do not see a lot of traffic on your page you might get more traffic there by linking some of your adverts to your own page and others to a different gateway.

An advantage on your own page is that you can place YOUR ads and you can allow others that is not in competition with you to advertise there because they are going to bring extra traffic to your page with their own ads. You might ask them a reasonable fee to advertise and in the process attracting more serious advertisers and make a few bucks extra as a bonus.

I for one. I believe it is far better to link your ads to SFI Gateways than your webpage/blog.
SFI Gateways looks professional and they have the right basic information that will attract your prospects. If necessary, they provide links for more information. They have fresh updated information. They get updated when SFI updates.
Your webpage/blog might not look professional. It might contain unnecessary information or even wrong information if you misunderstood something. Sometimes it might be out of date if haven't updated it.
For these reasons and many more. I won't advice you to send your prospects to your webpage/blog.

The new Join My Team (JMT) getaway debuted this year (just after New year) and it's new getaway website for all the affiliates.It's done by professionals (SFI team),for us.

When using it the main problem might be in those persons who overuse it.In other words - in those who spam others on social networks.Because of them (because of uncontrolled use of the getaways) I'm afraid that this getaway will be blocked soon (if not already).

In situation like that I hope you understand that it better (if not only possible) to link your ads to a certain webpage or your blog - what I would suggest you.Blogs can be done (in most cases) for free,but,on the other hand,when you have your own website it looks more professional.It's up to you what you will choose.

It may look that direct link to SFI getaway will bring more/faster success and that it's better approach...but don't forget it's on the short run.Soon it will be blocked.While linking to your webiste/blog may look like "round way",but by doing so you will probably escape to be blocked.

The best approach is to advertise your webpage, blog and gateway. You should flood the market without spamming.

There are more outlets out there to advertise in, if you search Google for reputable mailing sites and for website traffic sites you can advertise all of your internet sites in this way.

My reasoning for this is if one site you advertise does not work the chances are that another will.

So Advertise as many of your Gateways, Blogs and Webpage as possible.

For those affiliates who don’t have their own webpage or blog, using a SFI Gateway is the only option. This means that people sign up without really knowing what it’s all about. That often leads to inactive affiliates.

However, if you have your own webpage/blog it is better if you link your ads to there.

When you send prospects to your own webpage/blog you are able to give them more information about SFI and TripleClicks. They can also contact you with questions if you have a contact form. This way they know a lot more about SFI/TripleClicks and can make an informed decision before joining. Hopefully this also increases the chance that they will be active.

As a rule in online advertising, your ads links must link to the place you want your visitors to see. Usually that “place” is where the product you are selling or marketing can be found. It does not really matter whether the place is in your webpage/blog or in your SFI Gateway.

A link is just like a path which leads to somewhere. That somewhere is where you want your online visitors to get to. Whether the link is in form of text ads, banner ads or any other type of ad, so long as it takes visitors to wherever you want them to go when they click on it, it is a perfect link. That is the type of link that yields the desired results. What counts therefore, is not as much as where the ad link is placed but where it leads to when clicked.

You can place your ads links in your webpage/blog as well to an SFI Gateway provided the links take visitors to what you want them to see. That is what matters.

It is easier to get your SFI Gateway.You cannot put lot of information in your add and people can register (people are curious and some of them like to click everywhere), but they won’t have clue what they should do and then they will give up. Of course, you get new PSA, but most of them will be inactive. Sometimes PSA don’t remember SFI web address and they don’t know how to back there. There are billions of ads and probably, they won’t find you, so then your PSA will register again and make problem his new sponsor…
I think it is better to link it to your blog. You will spend more time but you will look like the professional. You can put more information in your own blog. You can explain advantage of this job. Some of them will read it very carefully. Some of them will contact you before registration. Of course, you will get PSA who are only curious, but you can also get PSA who really want to work.
