In choosing which text ads work is best for attracting new affiliates, first you should know the text ads guidelines, when doing advertising especially in paid search marketing. Knowing the “basics” is essential to understand the rules and limitations of this platform, leading you to fully grasp this tool at your disposal.

When submitting your text ads to Google, Yahoo or Bing the following general guidelines apply:

- Ads must be clear, describing accurately what is offered on your website.

- When writing ad titles and descriptions:

- - Short description is preferred, describing accurately the content of your site. You get better results when your text ads are written concisely.

- - Carefully choose keywords that relates to what you’re offering. Including your keyword in your title and description will improve your click-through rates.

There are other rules to keep in mind depending on which search engine you choose to submit your text ads. Rather than going to all of these rules, SFI has provided us Marketing Aids, and if applied will greatly help us in our sponsoring of new affiliates.

I will not try to give you the exact wordings that I used as Text Ads in free ads sites, some paid ads sites and social media sites, for obvious reason that its my own tool.

BUT I would like to give you tips where you can make your own Text Ads that will best work to attract PSA

We should take note that there is a very limited space for text ads therefore we should be able to optimize the space given in the ads sites.

There are three things that we should keep in mind when making our text ads.

1. You should be able to describe in few words the FEATURES of SFI. SFI has a lot of good features you must pick one for every text ads that you make.

2. You should be able to explain in few words the BENEFITS of joining SFI. Again there are many benefits of SFI you just choose one that is related to the FEATURE that you mention in no.1.

3. You should be able to persuade your reader to take ACTION in just one of two words.

Usually you will have two parts in your Text Ads campaign.

1. Head Line or Title: This is where you put your great FEATURE of SFI or the Great BENEFIT of joining SFI.

2. The Body or description - If you put the Feature in your Headline, you put the benefit and the call to action in this part of your text ads.

Almost all ads sites will allow you to put your gateway link. You put this at the end of your description after the call to action. There are two ways to do this;

1. If linking is allowed you link your call to action word to your gateway link. like call to action "Join Here" you link the word "JOIN HERE" to your SFI Gateway link.

2. Writing your whole gateway link.

In addition to these you can also take advantage of the features given in the ads site. Like making the headline BOLD or in Different Color or adding punctuation mark just to make it standout among the other ads.

Knowing these principles does not make you expert in making Text Ads that will work. Here's what I did before I created a fairly good Text Ads.

1. I observed lots of ads from free ads sites, Face Book and results from search engines. I take note those that caught my attention and also those that I think bad ads.

2. I make a matrix of few columns. One column I list down the feature and in onother column but the same row I put the benefits for that feature. Then in another column of the same row I put the call to action. The I combined them to make my Text ads.

Some of us are new to Internet Marketing and may not have
a handle yet on how to write a good text message for advertising.

In my opinion, the best text ads are the ones that say the least and catch
your attention the most.
In other words, great text ads are short, attention grabbing and to the point.

A text as short as "Now is the time to start!", may be all you need,
if you are in the right niche market.

Use the text ads provided, until you get a feel for how you wish to write your own.
Free Classified Ads are a great place to learn and practice.
Do a search for "best free classified ads" to get started.
The suggested text ads in the Marketing Aids page are
excellent to start with.

You should start doing a lot of advertising in multiple venues.
The text ads in Marketing Aids will work well for you, while you learn.

While you are advertising, study the suggested text ads,
along with other advertising efforts of competing companies.
Develop your expertise and familiarity with what is being used.

I now write all my own and you will too.
Take the time to use and study the suggested text ads.
Learn from the competition.
Analyse the market your are going after, the niche, as they say.

I find writing my own text ads to be more effective. Once you have learned the value and potential of SFI, it becomes much easier to highlight the parts that will attract new members. Writing your own text ads will also make them more personal, unique to yourself as an individual, and they'll separate you from the crowd of people who are already using the pre-written text ads from SFI's marketing tools.

The context and content of your text ads should also be relevant to where you are advertising. If you are seeking out people who are unemployed, you may want to mention a way for them to start their own business and work from home. If you're targeting stay at home moms or dads, you'll want to mention the flexibility of being able to work as much or as little as you want.

If you're not too great at writing your own marketing copy, you could take the pre-written ones from SFI and mix them up; take one line from one and put it with lines from others, but make sure that it makes sense. You could also take a pre-written one and tweak it a little bit to make it your own.

From studying the way other people have used ads, especially free ones, on other sites, there's are two truths that seem obvious to me that are apparently not obvious to others:

1) Text ads work best when they fit well contextually with the site where they're used. For example, if I'm posting an ad on a science fiction blog (I love science fiction, and I like to have affiliates I can not only bond with over this, but know have great imagination, which is PRICELESS in something that requires long-term vision like SFI.), I need an ad that will speak to the audience: "Looking for a new opportunity? SFI is the launchpad that will help you conquer cyberspace!"

2) Posting ads on sites dedicated to ad-posting puts your needle in a very large haystack, which means that finding ways to make your ad stand out is *critical* to it being visible. Without that, you might as well have an add that says "Blah blah blah words words SFI. And so on." (Now it might be that this is silly enough to actually work... I haven't tried it yet!)

My best text ads are ones that take advantage of Fact 1, and what works for me will not necessarily work for you. Put your ads in places where your peer group hangs out, and target them directly. One option is to put a link as an ad in your e-mail signature. and join your local Freecycle groups. Not only can you get perfectly good merchandise for free (I've gotten COMPUTERS this way), but you will also find people who need this opportunity. Freecycle groups have lots of stay-at-home moms, for example, and you can attract them easily with something like

"Create your own job in the privacy of your own home. I'll show you how."

Know your niche, and you will win.

Honest and enthusiastic testimonials share your passion for the program you are in, never sound like hype, and show that success can come to the dedicated. Passion sells but read the two examples below and tell me which you would rather join.

You are right, text is really necessary for you all pages of your website. Add more of description to your products - this will improve user experience.

I have found the use of the SFI Text ads to be useful that are brief and that match the target audience I intend to advertise too. The use of Text Ads is a tool but obviously will need to consider the reason why text ads will work on some websites or blogs and not on others.

One simple idea is to increase the assortment on your site so you can track "who" is attracted to your site. Is your site providing information that is appealing to new entrepreneurs or appealing to those who have the experience with on-line marketing.

It is an excellent way to grow your team with a mix of PSA's - various back grounds and experiences so that your team becomes diversified and can grow to reach all parts of the world.

Businesses thrive when their workforce is comprised of a variety of workers so that the business is appealing to all people with different back grounds.

Anyway, enjoy using all the Text Ads and don't limit yourself to just 1 or 2 as you will only know the endless possibilities only through using variety.

Be informative, explain what’s good about your product and why people should click on, and don’t write empty phrases about you being “world leaders”.


You should also stick to the truth. You might get a lot of clicks if you bend the truth a little, but you’ll have a hard time turning clicks into sales when the landing page can’t live up to the visitors’ expectations.


Just explain all the benefits SFI offer tell your unique selling point, like: did you need a second income, did you already plan your retirement, are you living your dream, did you forget about the word freedom, What, you just said you hate your boss, ETC….


And if you can incorporate some emotion in your ad, you might be creating a WIN WIN WIN.
