It is tempting to never give up on people. The time you are spending on unmotivated people could easily be much better spent on people who see value. I don't mean to throw them on the trash heap. After a week of not answering your emails or logging in to SFI, put them on the backburner. Contact them only when you have nothing better to do (every six weeks, for instance). Get on with the many who are legitimate people who show commitment. Help those who appreciate help. If they show commitment by their activity, assist them financially but only partially. If they are so financially desperate that they can't share 50/50 with a standing order or two, let them forage for themselves. It sounds cruel. Success (yours)comes by using wisdom in your choices. Remember to stay focused on your goals. It is O.K to spend 10% of your time on "lost causes". Spend a good share of your time on those who are serious and you'll succeed.
