The startover of VP positions or ranks each month are the foundation for the survival of the SFI program. The administrative costs for what SFI provides for FREE to its millions of affiliates has to come from somewhere. Most companies would charge a joining fee and a monthly fee for what. SFI allows you to take advantage of with their tools and setup for free.

Likewise, the cost of furnishing the products sold on Pricebender Auction at huge discounts needs to be recouped somehow in case there is a shortfall from the total of bids received.. There is much overhead that goes on behind the scenes which needs to keep the profit of the company positive, stable and strong. Other similar companies have gone broke.

At the same time, it must keep the affiliates adequately compensated for the money and effort they invest in the company.. Basicly, it forces the participants to be active or they fade out .if they do not. The many businesses represented need to have a strong system to rely on..

I hope this shows you the justification for starting over as a means of assuring stability for SFI.

I believe this is one of the wisest questions I have seen asked on Ask SC! Most questions are simply asked to have a chance at winning TCs. I'm sorry if that is casting aspersions upon the
benefits of Ask SC. This has definite learning benefits contrary to what I just stated. On most questions, you wonder if they are making use of the answers provided by SFC. Sincere questions deserve sincere answers, not just opinions--although the considering of all opinions is how one can arrive at the crux of the matter.

To answer your question: Working hard as opposed to working smart is kind of like asking about the race between the Turtle and the Hare. Which was smart and which worked hard? I believe the turtle did both--wisdom in his commitment and steady plodding along. The smart alec hare knew he could beat the turtle so easily without much effort. Was the rabbit wise or foolish?

So it is with us. We need to begin with a determined commitment to work as hard as possible. As we learn by trial and error, we begin to work smart and smarter. In any endeavor, some degree of smartness is needed from the start. The whole process of duplication hinges on the idea of getting smartness from your UPLINE rather than having to learn it painfully by trial and error personally.

Is this not good advice for you and for all newbies. Be smart and gain immediately by appealing for wisdom from those who ARE ALREADY SMART! At the same time, work hard with what you already have at your disposal. Of course, working hard can apply to the amount of time you are willing to devote to your business.

Finally, use wisdom in how you balance out your total life. Workaholics may become wealthy as do people who work smart. You are the one who determine how to apply hard work and smart working.

I'm sure many will pooh, pooh, my solution to such a complex question!

All you need to do is:

1. Find people who aren't lazy. How can you tell whether someone is lazy or not? Well, one fairly sure sign is if they quit before they begin. A lazy person signs in to SFI on Tuesday, changes his mind on Wednesday when he sees he is not going to get rich by Thursday, and there is time and effort involved.

2. Find people who are go-getters! A go-getter is one who, after working at his job all day, takes care of certain duties around the home, logs on to his computer to see how his income and expense budget is doing, and sees a popup of an. FSI banner. Since it is FREE, he takes a look, and furnishes everything to start a successful business, he readily signs in as an affiliate. He is amazed at how quickly he is able to get 500 Vpts and the 200 VPt bonus before by simply following the SFI Basics.

The next morning before going to work, he completes the Daily Launchpad Lesson, and the Daily ToDo’s.
He has time to sign up for 2 S-Builder Standing Order Coop units ($44. With 560 Vpts), 100 Tcredits for
$29, and a subscription to the monthly IAHBE all for a little over $100.

3. Ask the potential candidate if he has $1200 to set aside for optional expenditures to invest in his SFI business for the first 12 months. If he says "Yes" You have found an ambitious go-getter who has qualities that will make him successful almost anywhere. Your problem? He has already signed up with someone else!

So the question is not really “What is the best way to recruit these good, new potential affiliates? It is rather, “How do you find them? Through a process of elimination. Do a preliminary qualification of candidates who respond to an ad. Determine the best qualified from those who respond? Whether there be six or sixty, doesn’t really matter. Who responds or applies depend on the content of your ad and where you run it? Do you not have money to run such an ad? Well, I guess you see my point!

Success in SFI can certainly be attained without investing money which is true in any business. However, it would be foolish to imply that it could be attained as easily and as quickly without investment capital.

The industrial age advanced as rapidly as it did by innovation, investment, labor input, ingenuity, and education. You have access to these elements,in varying degrees, Now use the tools provided by SFI, If used correctly at the appropriate time, great strides can be made on the road to successl.without a great deal of money. Success itself is illusory in its meaning to each of us as individuals. For most--reaching a certain plateau providing financial security for the future, reasonable time freedom, and providing for the pleasures of life would be considered success. That is possible at SFI without REQUIRING money. But to succeed, you must substitute effort and other elements in lieu of money. Are you prepared for the time differential required to reach that goal without (as you say) ANY money?

Wisdom would say to Increase your success ratio dramatically by operating SFI as a business. Invest your own or O.P.M to accelerate company growth.. If that is impractical--or impossible for you, seek guidance from others who started from a position similar to yours.,Follow successful leaders in SFI or books of others who have started from scratch. SFI has implied that it can be done. They do not necessarily recommend it. You must believe it. If not, find a way or make it.

There is a common sense answer to WHEN you should start buying PSAs--it's when you understand the SFI/TripleClicks Program enough to give correct Guidance to each PSA.

More appropriate would be the question--HOW MANY should I get? And how often. I believe you will feel more comfortable working closely with ONE PSA at a time. If you do this, you can tell them you are new, and give them one or two significant pointers.

What are some of these these significant pointers? Alert them to bad mistakes that most new PSA and CSAs make. Most affiliates choose to use ALL or MOST ALL of their High VP OneTimeOnly choices to reach their 1500 VP EA goal.for FREE!!

They will do all 30 of the LaunchPad Lessons for 450 AVP at one sitting! WRONG! LP Lessons do NOT EXPIRE. Use them ONE Lesson/day for 15 AVP in a month when you NEED AVPs. In month ONE, SVPs count as AVPs. Why use them up before it is absolutely necessary? This applies to all the other OTOs--all of which you will need to use, including LP Lessons, if you MUST reach 1500 EA Rank for FREE!

The odds are extremely high for FAILURE, if you cannot afford an automatic qualifying Standing Order each month for 125 TC. @ $36.25. Consider it like your monthly Rent for your Store or needed equipment which SFI does NOT furnish. Most everything else, YES. You are not spending this TC Money--just exchanging it for dollars and used wisely later. In fact, it may be wise to let the TCs accumulate, for a few months, until you have a 375 TC bankroll. (Very likely that you will choose to use some each month)
Why the PSA ought to do this--Because:

It immediately qualifies each affiliate for the EA1500 rank each monthl This SO also gives them a GOLD FAST TRACK Badge with monthly perks worth several dollars/mo. and increasing their monthly commissions if they do it in their first 10 days (while the Green or Red Airplane appears by their account)

The above action, investment, Bonuses, and Daily ToDos (300AVP--600AVP) will leave very few AVPs needed (if any) to get 3000 VP needed for Bronze Team Leader in Month One. You will have 450 AVP from Launchpad, should have 300 AVP minimum from your Daily ToDo streak, at least 300 AVP from your E365 Bonus for being above the Green Line in the 5th week.
And your multiple monthly-weekly AVPs may leave you enough OTOs for your third month.

Since you are asking how you can convince non-speaking English affiliates to join SFI and work with you, I assume that YOU are fluent in English. I am pleased to know that if it is true because you become a somewhat rare case of being bi-lingual that you might be conversant in both English and
Russian or ? You have a distinct advantage over those of us that are limited to a single language despite our native tongue (English) has such a prevailing wide world usage.

It it so that you are bilingual? Then, let your advertising appeal be to that niche of people who would yearn for someone like you to help them in areas where they struggle with the English SFI meaning in certain areas--perhaps tutoring those who may be stalled in certain areas. The gain would show explicitly within your own country. I am level 172 in the US which has about 400 million people, I believe. If you have a large population in your second language country, appeal to that group who resist due to the language translation barrier.

Yours would be a big task but the sincerity of your followers would be immense and offset the extra hours required for your success in this way. They may well appreciate their growth in the
English usage to feel an obligation to stick with you through any trials you may face. There is a lot of reading and personal attention by you to certain areas would ease it much for them and you. Especially if they made use of the Google Translato also in conjunction with what you could do.r.

It is easy to earn maximum income without investment with SFI if you are satisfied with the maximum income you get may be zero! It depends on how much zero or slightly above satisfies your income goal.

Every person has a different "satisfaction" level, and the swiftness with which they can reach it. Some come to SFI with a background of years of MLM experience and a huge following. They can become Diamonds in one month by investment in time, time and money or value in their following.

You wouldn't think (as some do) that you can become wealthy by pushing buttons on a computer instead of actively working. Some do.so. But are you willing to believe you can do so also? No, it is much like a recipe or, building yourself a home. You wouldn't start building a home without a blueprint, materials, labor, and time.. Lacking any one of these will make it extremely difficult to complete a satisfactory or successful goal.. Which of them do you lack?. Time? Drive? Willingnesss to follow directions? This is not meant to discourage you by any means .Instead, it is meant to make YOU THINK!

I believe you will join the rank of the successful if you acknowledge investment.comes in many forms. So you can see why approximately 50% or more never get beyond becoming an affiliate. in name only. They want someone else to do the work for them..Then another 50% of the remaining drop out at the beginning of the 3rd month because the first month is easy to get the VPs in month one. That leaves only 25% remaining.Another 50% drop out at the beginning of the second year. This leaves about 10% remaining who obtain the goal that they wished to attain.initially. Only about 1% really become wealthy after 5-10 years.

Of course these are more or less calculated guesses on my part.. Do your own analysis on the 2 million affiliates I understand have become members of SFI. My own opinion would be that only 1% obtain six figure incomes without investing $50 per month initially.plus other valuable input.

FYI, the biggest mistake that is made in the vital first 24 hours.Instead of investing $36.25 for a 125 TCredit Standing Order immediately and deciding to maintain that SO for one year as an easy small montlly investment, they try to reach the 1500 VP EA rank using up all their OTOs (OneTimeOnly) VPs/ and doing all 30 LaunchPad Lesson Answer in one day instead of getting the 1500 SV P and 100 AVP FREE for simply exchanging the $36.25 for TCredits as a monthly investment.

I hope this helps you get started wisely and avoids later difficulties which one correct INVESTMENT STEP will improve your and your down line's success rate 100%.

First and foremost, make sure your ACTIVE Affiliates are getting your email messages. Your primary goal is helping them. You can tell where they need help by analyzing their VP Ledger.
Most of us pay attention to helping our smaller liist of PSAs and little attention to our BIG list of CSAs.

One way to test either group cheaply is to deposit whatever dollar amount you can afford in your Certificate Manager account. Allot an amount ($5-$10, for example) to a certain number of inactive PSAs or CSAs in 3 day cycles. If they fail to utilize the GC in two days, the gift returns to your Gift Certificate Manager account for re-use. You will soon find out the serious SFI affiliates that are getting your message.
If they don't respond to your gift, place them on a back-burner list. Reinstate them only if they show up as active in your genealogy as active for the current month.

Your financial commitment to this procedure can be adapted to fit anyone's budget, and will tell you fairly accurately if they are getting your emails.

You are interested in the "kinds" of investments a new affilate should plan on making to succeed in SFI.

The simplistic answer is: TIME and MONEY!

The next question is: "HOW MUCH TIME?" and "HOW MUCH MONEY?"

With SFI: Time ususally means a minimum of---ONE HOUR/DAY/365/year for an indefinite period of time. It depends on how much income it takes for the individual to call it success.

The upper limit of TIME invested differs for every individual. Some are already burdened down with a job to cover their normal cost of living. It may take as much as 10-12 hrs/day. One hour per day is a BIG investment of time for that person. Others may be retired and receiving Social Security; they may need only $1000/month to cover extraneous needs such as travel or a hobby and have lots of time. Their time is limited mainly by how many hours they are willing to work. Most new affiliates are wanting to make enough to get out of debt. They NEED money and have little or nothing to invest.

MONEY INVESTMENT:

With SFI, there is strong emphasis that it is a business that can be successful without investment of money. Though this can be true, one will find that a business grows extremely slowly without investment of SOME MONEY in theer business. Just because people can join for FREE, and so much is furnished by SFI--it is rather naive to believe that business success can be achieved without ANY MONEY. This is not meant to conclude that it will take a LOT of money. Fear of business failure often results from being unwilling to take risks---to commit either time or money on a longterm basis.

Success in business is in the mind of the beholder. It depends upon the individual's
goals or expectations. It requires correct assessment of many things--especially when looked at from a world wide perspective. Economies and incomes vary widely from one part of the world to the next.

All of the above need to be considered if you are to advise your PSA correctly about his plan for success. A main problem is that a PSA failed to get the FAST TRACK BONUS. This is the biggest mistake a new PSA can make in being successful. I don't have room to explain it here. It took me six months to become bronze. I have since learned how it can be done in ONE MONTH. And even go on to gold or silver if you follow certain guidelines and have at least %75.

Success in life begins with s correct attitude, patience, commitment, and a host of other factors.

The company policy of duplication is torpedoed by the passing of worthless affiliates by the sponsor to the D.L. It begins the downfall of the down line beneath him. The 45% commission should go--not to someone who is a recruiter if he provides disinterested, telephone listings to anyone who will sign up for castor oil if its free.

I am more than a little perturbed with CSAs being transferred to me with an expectation that I must try to rescue them from failing. If they joined at the behest of some fast talking salesman who can double speak any body that is breathing into joining SFI for FREE--whether they have any concept of what is expected of them. The average worth of
these affiliates may be next to ZERO. Some may join thinking it's a government handout, or subsidy. Do you think mass recruiters explain to several hundred enrollees a day what SFI and TripleClicks is? No! That's why Sponsors are NOT REALLY SPONSORS.

The idea of FREE is a good one if it accomplishes its purpose. Why not require a cost to enroll? Ten dollars? $100? $500? $1200? I learned in economics the law of diminishing returns. If SFI were to return whatever the joining cost to the affiliate was, and return one-12th of it monthly, membership would still be FREE, wouldn't it?
Most of those that now clutter the affiliate rolls of SFI would never join. They have no intention of working or investing money to make a profit.

What could be done to make "them" a good sponsor? Nothing! The above plan, if followed would eliminate 90$% of those who do nothing.

The SFI Plan doesn't need to be a "get rich quick scheme" to get sincere workers. It needs to be a system that engenders success for a much larger proportion of affiliates.

Michael: The answer to your question is really a company one. Eliminate the chaff from the wheat. Make stiffer requirements and duties for sponsors. They receive 45% of the commission--make them earn it. Let them pass on only BTL Rank affiliates to their D.L.
instead of some trashy non-workers. That will be showing duplication.

The benefits of the SFI FAST TRACK program and the deadline should be impressed upon every enrollee prior to joining. I suggest that the 24 hour limit be extended to 48 hours to enable a much higher percentage of affiliates to attain it. Not that it takes longer but because different parts of the world aren't even aware of the new PSA so they can communicate the short time limit for the FastTrack Bonus. Many of the SFI Basics could be listed in a brochure handout as a great marketing tool.

It could forewarn them of the importance of staying above the Green Line to capture a possible 600 VP bonus. I hope these changes may become real with SFI. I also hope that Sponsors voluntarily realize their duty is not limited to just recruitment and passing them to a Co-Sponsor.
