This is a very thought provoking question and this is what I feel.
You will be a good Team Leader if you have:
Conviction - this will give you the motivation and purpose to become a great team leader.
You need to believe without a doubt, that SFI is the vehicle that will propel you to success.
Commitment - you must be committed to the business 110%. Follow the guidelines laid down by SFI to become an awesome sponsor.
Confidence - when your team 'sees' your confidence, in terms of the badges you have received, your presence in the forum, through your newsletters etc, they will believe that the future with SFI is promising and that you have the ability to help them grow and take them to the next level.
Positive attitude - it's easy to be upbeat when things are going well. It is when things go downhill that you need to rise to the challenge and overcome the pitfalls. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. :)
Communication skills - be open to feedback from the team. Both good and bad. You will need to learn how to deal with individual team members in a way that gets the point across without stepping on toes. Remember, you will be dealing with many different personalities. This will create a closeness with your team.
Appreciation - be appreciative of your team. By assuring them that what they do matters, you are encouraging them to move forward enthusiastically towards achieving their goals.
