While we want to be the one to do the training of our PSAs and CSAs, we certainly do not want them to depend on us so strongly that they fail if we get sick or go out of an area of internet coverage for a period of time.
Instead, we, as active sponsors, should aim our initial training at teaching them how to find their own answers, how to explore both SFI and TC web sites, how to best use the Forum, ASK SC, and the help desk including ticket writing.
This way instead of depending on us, they will learn that we are reliable to help them when they really need the help.
Questions, situations, and events pop up at any time, maybe years into an affiliates life at SFI. The sponsor should be available to help during these times. On the other hand the sponsor should never take the place of the PSA actually reading the training material and using his head.
