What’s a great welcome gift for new PSAs and CSAs?
I think a great welcome gift for new PSAs and CSAs is anything that will help do the following: -
1. Increases their faith that SFI is a real business,
2. Reassures them that they can grow their own successful SFI business,
3. Lets them know that they have a dynamic leader (you), and
4. That they are joining a great team that offers ongoing training and support,
5. Encourages them to get started, and
6. Gives them a tangible reward for immediately becoming active in their SFI business.
We join SFI to earn money not to spend money. So it is just not possible or desirable for us to be giving a great gift as a handout for a new PSA or CSA. Neither do we want a team of affiliates who are dependent on us. It is not good to “give a fish.” It is better to “teach how to fish”. And, of course this is what SFI is all about. So how should we welcome a new PSA or CSA?
I think that the greatest welcome gift that we can give a new PSA or CSA is for us to the human face of SFI to them. I think this more than anything will address all the above 6 points. How do we do this?
We should be GREAT ambassadors for SFI. This means that we espouse the SFI dream and we show this by what we are doing in our SFI businesses.
We will be fully enrolled in SFI and have done all the Getting Started Actions. We will have completed our profiles, whitelisted SFI emails, prepared our budget, set out our goals, and we are actively working in our SFI businesses. We will have uploaded a great photo, created our avatar, set up our Leadership Page, our TConnect Page and our Gateways and be active in purchasing and/or selling products and services from TripleClicks.
We will be following the SFI system. This will show in the badges that we are starting to collect. Our VP will be growing day by day, and we will be striving to move through the ranks.
We will have prepared a friendly Welcome letter and will use E-Cards to welcome each new PSA or CSA into our team as soon as possible after receiving them.
And we will be sharing our enthusiasm for SFI with them.
These are really all tangible gifts that let our new team member know that they have become part of a great team and are sponsored/co-sponsored by someone who cares about them.

I actively support the CW program and offer it to all my new PSAs. And I personally think that giving them their “first dollar of commission” is enough of a gift.

So it is my pleasure to note the progress of each of my active team members and to respond to them individually. That is my promise.
