My answer to your question is to give them very basic information at first.
Make it clear it would be in their best interests to log in daily and earn their points as they can compete in the E365 and the Daily Grand. Remind them that the launchpad lessons and SFI basics also earn them points and appear on their home page to be referred to at any time they need to.
Tell them who you are and that you're there to help. If and when you win something whether it's a draw, a game, an auction, share it with them and perhaps how you did it.
Keep all correspondence short and to the point.
Communication is key and SFI reminds us to send a mail out every week.
