We have a lifetime limit of 10 TCredits per affiliate that we can give out for any reason. Therefore it is important to be able to use these to reward them for actual work they have done. If you use the the TW option, you will be using 3-9 of your allotted TCredits for that affiliate. Then to, the TCredits will come back to you if the new affiliate does not use them within the first 24 hours they are an affiliate of SFI.
The other big reason to not use this option is that new affiliates have no idea what is a TCredit, or member listing, and may not be interested Pricebenders auction, music download, etc. Of the few that have opted to take my offer of TCredits, none have used them. They do get a letter explaining about the TCredits and how to use them right at the start. But I think too many new affiliates read with their eyes or brain closed and never get what it is saying.
One the other hand, it looks like none of my takers of the CW is going to end up with the money either. The money concept is easier for new affiliates to comprehend and even though we do not have the 2 TCredits returned to us, I much prefer using this option as a welcoming gesture to my new affiliates.
Both of these options either take time away from the new affiliate finding what he is to do next, or are put on hold and forgotten. In spite of the opening letter from SFI, it is wise for the sponsor to add to his welcome letter and explain how these options are done, (remember we can offer only one of them) and the urgency of action, remembering also the urgency of action for the FastTrack.
