It looks like the core of your question is – “how to improve your communication skills”.
To me, I feel there is nothing that cannot be achieved in this life if you make efforts at them.
The way you have put this question, is in itself one proof of the fact that you already have the skill of communication, but maybe you thought you don’t.
However, for the purpose of this question, let’s suppose you don’t have, and you now want to learn how to communicate well with your downline. I’ll suggest a few points:
1. You can start by making use of SFI’s Tailor-made communications with your Team. Study also how those pieces are structured, and use them as materials to learn how to write like that.
2. You can also buy a book or two on EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION or PUBLIC SPEAKING, and use them to learn the art of communication. In addition to that, obtain a dictionary for proper GRAMMAR & WORD usage.
3. Another means is to make use of the SK-SC portion of SFI, to study how people communicate and express themselves. Then attempt to emulate them.
4. SFI FORUM is another area. There you join a group of people who make attempts at solving problems in SFI. Study the art of communication there and make your own attempts at solving some of the problems.
5. Finally, one other good means is to join local clubs, study how people communicate there, and make efforts to offer few relevant speeches there yourself.
