I believe that in order to get them to be serious SFI business builders, they must have the correct state of mind and attitude towards SFI.
The very 1st requirement is for them to be completely sold on SFI. They must firmly believe that the SFI business is the vehicle that would take them along the road to financial success, to their dreams and goals. If they do not have this belief, then SFI is a hobby or a plaything. They will log in when they feel like it, play a game or an auction here and there but will lack that fervent drive to grow the business.
They must accept the fact the success of their business depends largely on themselves. They are not employees working for a set number of hours a week and getting paid for those hours worked. No, they are to get rid of that mindset. They are running their own business.
They must also be prepared to invest time, effort and money in the business. Accept the risks. There will be good and bad times.
These are only some of the things that an affiliate needs in order to be a serious SFI business builder but I believe that they are the most important.
Your role as the sponsor is to provide and promote the environment for these attitudes and outlooks to flourish. Plant the seeds of success early, water the young plants, fertilise them and nurture them into fruitful trees who will produce seeds and start the process all over again – duplication!
Set good examples for your affiliates. Be active in SFI, have a Standing Order, be a Wave3 member, A2A member, ECA if possible, participate in the games and contests, auctions, be active at The Forum, be involved with ASK SC. Practise what you say to your affiliates.
Teach your affiliates about the business, how to go about doing things, how to advertise, to sponsor, how to use TripleClicks etc.. Encourage them and keep on telling them about SFI, the potential of this business and their own potentials. If they have successes or reach any milestone, celebrate these with the whole team.
Make them believe in SFI and in themselves. If they believe they will become very serious SFI business builders.
