YOu send PSA and CSA mailer every week and you can see your genealogy who is active and who no.
Active members will accept all of your help and in my opinion that you can communicate with them also private way like message center or by skype maybe social network.
Inactive members maybe delete your messages but may they read. If they read the day can come when they reactivate theirselfes. So I think preferably help it couldn't be too much.
