I find the SFI Chat does not often work well. Unless your team member has the chime active they do not realize you are wishing to communicate with them. I send a team mail or email to them and request them to add me on Facebook. This works extremely well. The instant one on one messaging is great for helping them move ahead quickly. They can also get more of an idea about you because of your posts, photos, and likes on your page. This makes them feel like they are more then a number to you and helps build a very strong working relationship.
