We need to be helpful to our team members. This help comes in the form of teaching, explaining, encouraging, coming along side, and everything else that helps the member to become more successful at running and expanding his business, at becoming a more talented sponsor, and more of a compassionate human being.
Helping usually does not include doing his work for him, teach him how, nor does it include always giving him TCredits and Gift Certificates so he can buy his way out of trouble.
We want to offer our help always to our whole team, even the inactive ones, but we can not force them to accept our help. Do you want to send him a reassignment, TCredits, Gift Certificates, offer a reward for a contest or challenge? Then ask him first if he would like to receive what you want to give or participate in a contest. If he does not answer, don't go forward with your plan. Give him the responsibility of accepting that type of help.
On the other hand if you find that an affiliate only reacts to your special offers of help, then maybe he has fallen into a dependency. A person like this must be taught to work on his own and not rely on your time and money. Do not despise him because his own government may have taught him this mindset, just teach him that he has the power to build his own business with you and SFI.
