To grow anything, be it a business, a relationship, a building or even a life, you must input into it some sort of investment. It could be time, money, effort and energy, it all boils down to putting yourself out and letting go of a little to gain a lot at the end.
Even planting any seed, you need to tend it and water it to get a grown plant that will finally give you seeds or fruits at the end of the day. You invest a little money into your SFI you get a life time of income at the end of building up your business, just like you plant a couple of corn grains and you harvest a field of corn cobs the end always justifies the means.
So tell them that the patient dog eats the fattest and juiciest bone. They need to endure and persevere, and also continue to do the work of growing the business and they will laugh last and best.
