Thanks for this interesting question.

Whilst I do not 'gain' (win or buy) more than 15 or even 30 new PSA's at a time, I have to admit that for me it has been important that I compose/write individual welcome letters to each! No. I have avoided using the 'SFI template' or SFI formatted letter. (But its content has guided me in preparing my own letter).

I think that the individual letter is so much more 'personal', and 'intimate', than a 'group mailing' - and perhaps does tend to make a better impression on each new PSA?
(I could be wrong, as many of my new PSA's fail to even acknowledge my welcome letter and welcome cards!!)

On the other hand, if you are buying or winning 50 to 100 PSA's or more, in one go, then you may have to consider preparing a 'group mail', in order to ensure that each one is at least receiving a 'welcome letter' within 24 hours of joining !
