You have to show the affiliates in your downline what SFI is all about. Once you have shown/explained to them about:

1. TripleClicks
2. Pricebender auctions
3. MRP's and what can be done with them
4. Benefits of rising in the ranks (EA, BTL, STL, etc)
5. Possible income potential
6. The easiness of selling things that they no longer need or want.
7. T-credits and the importance/uses of them

There are many more reasons to be a part of SFI, but you have to make sure you communicate this to your affiliates on a personal basis.
