SFI and TripleClicks are no less secure than Ebay or Amazon, both of which were hacked and are under daily attacks.
Facebook recently had personal data stolen on 200 million+ users, Twitter was hacked last year, several U.S. and International banks were hacked and robbed late last year to the tune of over 120 million U.S. dollars.
Sad to say no business can guarantee it wont happen or wont hurt if it does happen but SFI has been openly updating us as to the fixes they are implementing. They have kept us updated well into the late hours of their day and worked through last weekend and were still answering member questions Saturday night.
Nowhere online will you get near the personal response you did with SFI. With all those sources I listed above you barely got a single message in your e-mail that simply stated the site was attacked and information was lost. With SFI people were on hand directly answering individual questions and offering personal support.
Each person needs to decide if that stellar display of loyalty to SFI and TripleClicks members was enough to reassure them but I am telling you that a better response to such a bad situation can not and will not be handled better than what this team has done.
