If you place many ads, KEY Code tracking is ESSENTIAL! I just finished a campaign where I placed 3 different ads in EVERY STATE of the US. I used the following system:
3101 for a TripleClicks ad in Alabama; 4101 for an SFI sponsoring ad for my own co-op; and 5101 for a group co-op I belong to.
Then I used 3102, 4102, and 5102 for Alaska, 3103, 4103,and 5103 for the next state and so until I finished all of the states.
When the replies start coming in, I will know at a glance which AD list, which state, and EXACTLY which ad the response came from, so I can accurately tell how effective the campaign was.
