I think once a week is best through the genealogy mailer, but sometimes some members need more attention. For them, as often as needed. Most people don't seek out answers directly, but if someone emails you with questions it is best to find the right answer(s) as soon as you are able!

Otherwise, I communicate with both active as well as inactive members every week or so, give or take a few days. Sometimes once every ten days and sometimes once every five or six days, but I communicate consistently.

I try to send encouraging messages so that even those who have gone inactive might be inspired to log in again and stress that it takes time to build the SFI business...
