As many people have stated, BOTH are important. However, I personally think sponsoring PSAs is more important. Any PSAs you recruit are also automatically PRM, so you will receive a commission off everything they buy. If they are serious about SFI they will likely be placing a SO each month, thus you will automatically earn.

The only caveat with my answer is that some folks really are only interested in buying items from TC and not desiring a home based business such as SFI, so it's also

What are the best ways to stay in contact with PSAs and CSAs and how often is best?

I think once a week is best through the genealogy mailer, but sometimes some members need more attention. For them, as often as needed. Most people don't seek out answers directly, but if someone emails you with questions it is best to find the right answer(s) as soon as you are able!

Otherwise, I communicate with both active as well as inactive members every week or so, give or take a few days. Sometimes once every ten days and sometimes once every five or six days, but I communicate

For each new month I already have my SO of 1500 in place for the first week so I know I will achieve EA right off the bat.

I visit all my tabs and do as much as I can daily and weekly on the To-Do List, and I always make sure to stay in contact with my team.

I also try to start the month strong with promotion. Some methods I use are hanging flyers in public places (bus stops, local bulletin boards at banks, grocery stores, colleges, etc), handing out business cards, free traffic

I think a basic welcoming message saying hello and that you're happy to have them join your team is great. Introduce yourself, maybe give a little background info if you desire, and let them know you are there for support and will help with any questions or concerns they have.

I always mention the Launchpad Lessons as well as any specials I am currently running to let them know there is so much to this company and so many different ways to earn, but I try to keep the first welcome message

This is a no-brainer. For me, I wanted to earn extra income. Think about the reasons YOU joined!

Multiple streams of income, no out of pocket costs required to join, and lessons provided for free to succeed.

Aside from all that, SFI has been in business as a reliable source of income for millions of people, paying millions of dollars, for more than a decade.

It's so easy to promote SFI with simple, basic facts! Best wishes. : D

If a team member asks me a question to which I don't know the answer I begin an extensive search and try to find out as much information as I possibly can. I always cite the webpages I used to find the answer by providing the URL so they can reference it themselves.

If the answers are unclear or I cannot find an answer (which is rare) I ask my upline for support and try to do a general web search (meaning outside of SFI) to see if anyone else might have any insight; however, when searching

There are many benefits to running contests. It will help both the downline affiliate as well as YOU!

Motivating your team will help them move up in ranks or become better affiliates (depending on your rewards and qualifications for the contest) and will keep them interested in SFI. Maintaining interest can be difficult for some people, so sometimes they need that extra "push."

If you keep them interested and working, especially if they maintain EA status or above,

Using key codes is by far the most effective and simplest way to track your ads. I organize mine in a spreadsheet and have dozens of key codes.

You need to track how much traffic you are receiving and, more importantly, the amount of sign ups you get from each source as well. Getting lots of traffic is good, but it means little when no one is signing up.

Test different methods for which ones are effective. Free and paid advertising are both good choices. You can submit to

What should I do when I receive inactive CSAs?

It is a fact of life that not every CSA we receive will be active (just like not every PSA will be active).

I try to communicate with them on a regular basis and send personal follow up emails every month or two thereafter telling them I am still in SFI and my true story how it has taken months to get a decent pay from SFI, but it keeps growing. I let them know how I built my foundation and keep expanding it while offering words of encouragement that it's not too late for them to do the

How do I convince someone to try SFI when they've had bad experiences previously with online businesses?

This is a great question. Many people have had bad experiences with online businesses for whatever reason, but SFI has many satisfied affiliates.

I try to be honest and let people know that I was, indeed, confused at first! I had to figure out what to actually do, how to earn money (and was pleasantly surprised to learn there are more than just one or two ways to earn!) and have faith that since this company has been around for almost 20 years and has a wonderful reputation I am in good
