The concept is that you can catch more fish when you are on a bigger lake. By that I mean that if you limit your target group to your own circle of influence, you will miss out on the benefits that come with a global company such as SFI. The internet makes it possible for you to cross language and cultural boundaries so it is ok to take down the boundaries and go for whoever responds. By the way, most of my active PSAs and CSAs come from other countries so if I stuck to my own language and environment,

How do you manage your team with many cultures and timezones to navigate?

The best part about the internet is that it comes with its own culture. In the internet culture, there are no time zones and language barriers as long as you have software that translates the web pages into your native language. For this reason, the internet makes it easier to manage your team because the playing field is leveled when you send out team mail and information. The issue I could see is the ability to chat or call on the phone because you would have to coordinate a time to call and

What are the benefits of Pricebenders auctions that I can promote to prospects?

One of the biggest benefits of the Pricebenders auctions is the ability to purchase items at a huge discount. Along with the discount, being a member of SFI means that you get 1 action versa point per bid which will increase your earnings for the month. Add to the action versa point 5 member rewards points per bid and you end up with almost your entire bid reimbursed to you which basically means you are bidding for free. The system is set up so you win even if you do not win the auction.

It is important to visit the SFI forum daily for the same reason why you check your email on a daily basis, look at the news on a regular basis, and check with your friends occasionally. The SFI forum is our way to get in touch with each other and help each other out with issues that can be handled my more experienced affiliates. You may find an answer you have been searching for and you could offer an answer to somebody who needs your help.

Fear of success is a major problem for many people. How do you get past this with your team members?

It is interesting that you use the word success instead of failure. I would imagine that the fear of failure would be a greater fear although the fear of success can be hard to deal with too. The advice I give to my team members is to focus on one part at a time rather than looking at the big picture. By narrowing your focus you can build confidence one step at a time and that will help you maintain your perspective.

What is the most important goal you've set for your SFI business and why?

The most important goal for me is to recruit 10 PSAs every month. If I can gain 10 every month and 1 of them becomes active, by the end of the year, I can have 12 active PSAs. Without PSAs being added every month, I would lose momentum and my income would start to decline. We must keep recruiting so we can keep our teams alive.

Is it worth it to keep sending supportive emails to PSAs and CSAs who have 0 VP and been inactive for weeks or months?

As long as they did not opt out of the system, they will receive the weekly communication you send out for the 30 action VPs. So in that sense, I would say keep them as part of your weekly communication so you can keep them close. I know from experience that SFI can be overwhelming at first so there could be "late bloomers" who take longer to get started. Those are the ones who need encouraging messages through the weekly communication so SFI can stay visible for them.

I am reminded of the saying: "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

People join SFI for many different reasons and the reason why they joined directly affects how active they become. I don't know if there is a good answer that will produce the ideal results because if one existed, we would all be much better off than we are now, but there are a few ideas that come to mind to help your new PSAs.

1. Try to establish a connection beyond the weekly

If you have the money available, you could purchase plenty of X-cards, fliers, post cards, business cards, etc, that have your information on them and you can "Hit the streets" with your marketing. There are plenty of public places where you can distribute your materials with little to no effort and I am sure you can find some places where you can leave some behind for others to pick up when they pass by. You could also visit some of your local businesses to see if they sell anything

Which helps my SFI business the most...playing Eager Zebra games or bidding on Pricebenders auctions?

Since the creation of Eager Zebra games, the Pricebenders auctions are not as appealing to me. Everybody loves playing games and trivia is popular in my circle of influence, so I usually have my friends look over my shoulder as I answer the questions so they can see how much fun I am having. When they ask how they can play too, I share my signup link with them so they can play on their own when they get home. We have fun competing to see who can get the most questions right when we play.
