Which is better and why...to contact my PSAs through SFI (e.g. PSA Mailer) or directly via their email address?

Why not both? For the beginners always send an e-mail. Many beginners do not manage to SFI account and you will need to send them a message on their e-mail to make sure that they are going to read it. Later, when you get a better contact with your PSAs, you can agree to how you communicate via e-mail, SFI messaging, social networks, etc. Be sure to use team mailer for important information you want to forward to all your members.

I think it is necessary to advise our members to progress quickly, but not at any price.
First, if they quickly become TL without a team, it will be difficult to maintain the status for the next month too. It is important for them to learn and understand what is SFI and how it works.
Second, if we force them to quickly become TL they might think that the whole story is frivolous and that does not require a lot of effort and work, and to disappoint in the second month and give up.
We need, first of all be honest with our members and explain that the SFI is serious business like any other offline business.
