Yes, it may be quite difficult for some of us to maintain the Team Leader rank each month. However, I have been a Bronze Team Leader for approximately five months. I will share some of the actions I have taken to maintain the BTL rank. I ensure that I:

1.Get the 2000 maximum sales VersaPoints which includes a 1500 VersaPoints Standing Order. With the SO I would have achieved the EA2 status.
2.Purchase items at TripleClicks to earn the additional 500VPs
After earning the 2000 maximum VersaPoints you now need your Action points. I, therefore,
3. Do my daily weekly and monthly actions
4. Purchase TripleClicks Direct products before the 15th of the month so that I will get to review them by the end of the month (you should know how much you can afford to spend). Very often I use my MRPs for these. For this I get 25 VPs for each review.
5. Enter the daily grand and do this every day - don't ever miss a day. It is possible to win VPs.
6. Earn 100 points for each approved/activated ECA your refer to TripleClicks (unlimited points).
7. Encourage my PSAs to achieve at least EA2 every month so that they can get the additional benefits that are offered at this rank. For each achiever 100 VPs are assigned.
8. Enter Pricebenders Auctions to get the additional VPs that you may need.
9. Enter the T-Time Competition each day to win TCredits.
10 Enter Ask sc.
For additional information and to further reinforce the earning power to become a Team Leader I would like to share what Gery Carson posted on the Forum on December 28, 2013. He said:

That said, make sure you're not focusing totally on VersaPoints. Yes, income can be earned from accumulating VP, but the primary role of VP is to determine your rank. We strongly urge you to review SFI BASICS and follow it's guidelines."

This all depends on your personal schedule and circumstances. Yes it is a business, a new business and you want to make the most out of it. Think about the chores you have to execute each day and your time to sleep among other activities. How much time or hours in the week will you have left to practically devote to SFI? This is a personal decision that you will have to make.

My suggestion, however, is devote most of week to SFI to become successful. By this I mean you are going to be alert; keep SFI in mind at every opportunity. As soon as you are able to, apply your self to the practicality of the business. This should assist you to become successful.

What should I say to my PSAs when they say they are going to quit because they are putting out more than they are receiving?"

First, I would convey to them the usual warm greetings. I would remind them of the appreciation I still feel having them on my team. I will then remind them of the credulous business of which they are a part. It is not a get rich quick scheme. Just like how one takes time to make profit from the ordinary business, it takes time to see any profit from SFI.
A matter of fact, they must realize "the only way to fail in SFI is if they give up." Point out also what Gery in his Rules of Success says. He says that many people quit just as they are ready to break -through. Can they imagine spending so much time mining for gold and just when they are a few centimetres away from striking it, leave? Why did they walk away at that point? Now they lost all their hopes for success - making profit on their expenditures.
Subsequently, I would help them to take appropriate actions like:
- For a start, they can set aside 15 minutes a day so as to complete their daily actions. Each set of VersaPoints gives some financial reward. It may seem small but every bit adds up.
- Buy PSAs and build their teams. They are in packs of 10s. As a team when they work together, they will all benefit.
- Go to triple clicks and see the products that they have available. There are some inexpensive items which they can buy and from which they can make an additional business. They can re-sell them and make profits. To ensure that this works, they could take orders from prospective clients and supply their demands.
Finally they must be reminded that "every journey starts with the first useful step." Consequently, they must be committed; they must persevere and they must communicate. The bottom line is, they can earn and make their business venture successful, as long as they do not quit.

Hello,

In my view, the first easiest way to become and Executive Affiliate (EA2)month is to purchase a standing order that will allow you to get 1500 VPs - the requirement for an EA status. Many newbies may reason that they cannot afford to a standing order that immediately gives 1500 VPs.

Second, use as little as $14.50 with which you can purchase a 100 TCREDIT pack that will give you 1200vp. This amount will be combined with your free VPs of approximately 492 VPs, which you would get through your daily, weekly and monthly actions. You would now receive approximately 1692VPs. You are EA again!

There is yet a third way, which involves searching for DOUBLE MRP Pricebenders auctions, and bid. The 100 TCredits will give you 1000 mrp @10mrps per bid. With this you can buy 7 TCredits = 714+492=1206. Plus 1vp per bid = 100vp =1306
As an EA you would have received 10 TC. You will have this amount along with the 7TC you bought with your mrps. Bid again and get 170 mrp +118 mrp left over from 1000 MRPs after you purchased the previous 7 TCredits. You will now have 288MRP. Buy 2 more single TCredits this time = 204 VPs. So, you are EA2! 204+1306= 1510VP.

Move ahead, get an additional 10 VPs for rating your sponsor, 5 VPs for setting you monthly goals. Take your weekly actions through which you will earn 5VPs for reviewing your TripleClicks page, 3 VPs for stream posts and 30 VPs for sending a PSA, CSA or Genealogy Group Mailer.

Additionally, enter the T-Time Contest, for free, where it is possible for you to win 2 TCredits. You can use these to bid and earn 2VPs. Enter the Pick the Price Contest and the Daily Grand. The possibility is you can win TCredits and VersaPoints. Then recently there has been a number of new games in which you can participate.

What should new affiliates NOT do in their first month?
This is a very good question because oftentimes we hear what we are to do but not to do when we become new affiliates in SFI. From my experience, the don'ts do have a positive impact on the way new affiliates approach their newly found business. What are some of the don'ts that new affiliates should apply? The list follows.
1.Do not forget to get their monthly training that SFI offers through the Launch Pads.
2.Try neglect the opportunity to read for more knowledge
3.Try not to forget to do your daily log in.
4.Try not to forget to do your daily actions and enter the Daily Grand.
5.Do not neglect communication with your sponsor/co-sponsor, especially when they desires to communicate with you.
6.Do not begin to work the program unless you watch the Getting Started video and complete the SFI Basics.
7.Never forget to save some of the VersaPoints for the following month when things may get a little harder to accumulate the needed VersaPoints.
8.You should not aim to be a team leader since it is quite unlikely that you will have a team in the first month.
9.Do not allow the negative attitudes/comments that people may propagate to deter you from pursuing you dream with SFI.
10.Do not feel despondent if your sponsor never keeps in touch with you.
11.do not forget that SFI is not a get rich quick scheme. You will not get rich overnight.
12.Finally, don't forget that you are about to build your business and that you will have to work hard.
I do not want you to ignore this information.

SFI is a real business that requires individuals to establish goals in order to be successful. These goals have to be realistic and achievable within the fixed one month time frame. It is a fact that goals do energize, affect persistence, activate cognitive knowledge and focus attention to relevant activities. As a result, each month I focus on setting my goals to continue my SFI business and maintain my team leader rank.
First, I do my daily and weekly actions, engage in auctions, answer SC questions any other activities that will endow me with action points that will enable me to achieve my intended rank.
I evaluate the previous months goals and the activities in which I was engaged to get to the specific targets that SFI sets out on the Goals page. If I achieved the intended goals for the previous month, for example; I would set new targets. If I did not achieve my goals, I would evaluate to see what could have hindered my achievements and try to make necessary adjustments where possible.
During the course of the month, I exercise flexibility in addressing the set goals. In the event that I achieve particular goals by the middle of the month I increase the targets. If not I adjust the targets, as I see fit.
Additionally, I ensure that my standing order is in place - 125TCredits from which I earn VersaPoints to get me to the EA2 rank which is very important to preserving the benefits that SFI offers. I work on other goals of making additional TripleClicks purchases, product reviews.
Consequently, with these set goals, I am able to confidently continue with my SFI business.

If I could completely start over with SFI today, knowing what I know now, there are at least five things that I would do differently, four of which are major.
1. I would ensure that I thoroughly observe the getting started actions, including the video presentation.
2. Yes, I would ensure that I become a Fast Track affiliate since I would have the additional 500 VPs to remain above the green line. Staying above the green line means securing a place in the E365 contest.
3. Ensure that I learn many of the nuances of the SFI business which come through the launch Pad lessons. I would therefore, in a timely manner read each lesson daily so I can spend time to observe the links to which each lesson is connected. This would also help me learn and appreciate the business better.
4. I would ensure that for the first month that get enough VersaPoints to stay above the green line and get to Ea status so that I can use the additional ones to assist me in achieving EA2 in the second month, especially when there is no money to secure a standing order at that point. With that status I would start to build my team since I would receive two co-sponsored affiliates.
5. Finally, after these two months I would start to invest in the business which would include purchasing products from TripleClicks and build my online shop.
