Hi,
This is a very interesting question. I have tried all SFI gateways. The one that has worked for me are
1. For sponsoring Indian Affiliates I use www.sfi1.biz/XXXXXXXX. I use this Gateway coz even I am an Indian and in this gateway, your name is mentioned. So i would recommend this gateway, to be used for your own country.
2. For sponsoring other affiliates I use http://www.sfi4.com/XXXXXXXX/first.
3. For TripleClicks I use the auction gateway i.e http://www.tripleclicks.com/XXXXXXXX/pbgw.
These are the gateways that i use to promote SFI and TripleClicks and has helped me a lot. Hope this helps others too.

What is the best method to attract and convince people to join SFI?

The best method to attract people is through proper advertising and also through Co-ops. Co-ops are paid adverts and hence you get quality affiliates under you.
The second question is to convince people. The best way is to be in touch with them and tell them the pros and cons of this program. We all know how good a program is SFI. we just need to replicate or duplicate ourselves
How do you motivate your team to get and stay active with SFI?

The best Motivation you can give is to regularly update them with what they can achieve by not quitting SFI. I have been doing this and have been effective. Keep mailing them and let them know that there is someone there to help them in any distress they are.
Be their mentor and guide. This will give them the push to achieve what they are capable of.

A Very Good Question. A Problem which, maybe most of us has faced during our initial times. I will share my experiences in here.
When I started, in my first month, I bought some PSAs. Since I was new to SFI and not much support from my upline, I didn't knew that your first month should be dedicated to learning and training yourself. I had couple of good PSAs under me from that purchase. They started pouring in with loads of questions about SFI and the business etc.
I took that as a learning opportunity for me too. I started searching for their answers in Support Index and actively participating in the Forums. To be very frank, Forums is the best place to get answers to all your doubts. I got a lot of help from many in the Forums and also you get most of the answers from the Support Index. So I would recommend new-comers to learn and educate yourself and also actively participate in Forums.

Has anyone used Skype or other video chat service with their team members...and was it effective?

I have been using skype and other video chat services with most of my downline. It has been very effective, since you get to see the person in real. The ambiguity of the whole thing being fraud or vague get over, once you see a person in real.
I would definitely suggest people to go in for Skype or other video services.

This is a very good question. The two most important part in making sales or growing your network is
1. Initial Contact with the prospect
As we say first impression is the last impression. So your initial Contact with the prospect should create a good impact on him/her.
2. Follow-Up
For making a good relationship with the prospect, you need to have regular follow ups with him/her, keeping in mind that you don't turnout to be a pest for that other person.
So if you see, both of these are very important in successful marketing. You cannot neglect any one of them. Both are equally important.

I was a complete novice about advertising before i joined SFI. I got a lot of help from my Sponsor and co-sponsor. I also learnt a lot through Google search. Today, the Internet is the strong medium of Information. You just need to type the information that you want. You will get loads of information on the Internet.
Apart for this, if you want to know how the advertising procedure is, co-ops are etc you can check it through wikipedia as to how it works. The best way to learn about anything is to find it for yourself over the internet.
