It is hard for us in the USA to imagine that it can be VERY difficult for others around the world to afford $22.00 or $29.00 a month to buy Standing Orders. We are RICH compared to many around the world. I mention this because the answer is for us who can probably spare money for giving boosts those who are in our downline means for purchasing SOs or giving them gift certificates, etc. Naturally, wisdom tells us to those who are truly seeking a better way of life and show their willingness to grow in SFI because of their existing activity (like the turtle, willing to plug along using every free means of advancement that SFI offers. Even more meaningful is
helping someone along who is not in your downline but who has a need. How can we know who is deserving and will use what we give to advance them more rapidly. Most of us who are affiliates are somewhat in the same boat--working SFI because we need the extra income. Joining SFI because we didn't have money to squander getting into other programs when SFO is FREE. The Bible says, "Cast your bread upon the waters and it will not return unto you void." For those who need interpretation, it means "Do something beneficial to others, and you will find it benefitting you in some way some day in the future." The world would be a better place if all of us were willing to do more for others. Selfishness destroys the joy of living.

Contests are good if affiliates compete from a level playing field. Otherwise, losing can have a negative effect upon those who lose. The contest should be designed to give the participants equal chances to win. Competing on VPoints earned could favor someone that has more money to spend. A contest might be set to see who can be the most successful bidder on 250 TCredits limiting the bidding to 10 registered contestants each limited to 100 TCredits. That would reward the one who has skill. Pricebenders may not be able to limit the bidding in such a way--although they do limit bidding, in some cases, to people who have never won before. Contests for VPoints may truly make some accumulate many Vpoints but, in their haste, overlook the information meant to be absorbed from the lesson. If you do design a contest, it may be well to contact SFI to see if it conforms to their rules.

Growth in any business stabilizes the business and makes it easier to attract affiliates into YOUR Team or group. The growth of your group (and the total of group sales) is the basis for the main growth in your income. If you will note that some are adding 50-100 affiliates per day. The law of percentages is always in play. Some spend months of time looking for that ideal hardworking affiliate and take a year to find five. Others spin through a 100 who sign on and find 10 good ones. It is good that SFI has increased numbers. But it is more important that growth of YOUR TEAM is the cause of the company growth. Always analyze what causes YOUR business to grow. Enthusiasm and commitment within your Team assures retention of that Team and its continued growth. I just need to look and see--what am I personally doing to cause SFI to grow.

If sales isn't your strong suit, buy S-Builder Co-Op if you have money to do so. If not seek help from your upline. Free advertising ads can certainly help. Meanwhile, gather as many points as you can from your ToDo List. You can always speak to your friends about the SFI opportunity if you, yourself are sure it will help you succeed.

I wondered too about why I have not received my kit. I have been in for 2 months. I think certain advertising supplies we need could be put in the kit, even if the charge was a little greater. I like the free items offered with the purchase.

When should we give up on CSAs who don't respond to our messages or do anything?

Hello Karen: Your question to know when you should stop mailing or contacting your CSA's is dependent to a great degree upon your goals, time available, and your desire to fulfil your responsibility to these who ARE YOUR TEAM>

Internet Marketing puts the value of one lead as $1.00 without qualification. My CSAs therefore are worth $131. (as they are).

Another Internet determination is that you must make 5 contacts on average before they respond with a purchase or entry into your program. This is with a generic list. The SFI names are much better than a generic list, because they have already made a tentative commitment. Failure to proceed with SFI can fall into three main catagories. Lack of interest, lack of time, and lack of money. You can use the genealogy report and the ability to determine the cause for non-activiy using the various columns to determine:
1 Those who had a large number of points vs none at all. Descending Order of VPts
2 Arrangement of affiliates based on last contact and points at that time.
3 Length of time between joining date and inactive date.

Determination of the most likely to become active again can enable you to give special encouragement to those who score highest in your evaluation. Remember, that situations change, which is often the basis for reactivation. Your honest interest in their future is the trait that will be most likely to have an effect. That entails a gentle awareness of SFI testimonials which you give to them along with your own.

A standing order gives peace to your mind as you are pressing toward your goal. The SO is like a foundation on which to build. Any VPoints added speed you to your ultimate goal. It is like a super-charger to your engine. It actually pays for itself in the savings on TripleClick purchases. The first SO really makes good sense. If you can have more than one, your progress will be evident. Last of all, it encourages your affiliates.

see what you are missing--and make it your goal to add ONE NEW ONE. I look at my Upline to see how THEY are doing--and try to emulate the path success has set. Ir really points out the areas where I NEED TO IMPROVE. Some may be intimidated by the effort involved in reaching these labels. True--but they have been told to never quit so it is a means of establishing self-worth. When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

I am sure you have noticed that the same people get the most votes for answering Ask SC questions. It would seem to indicate that they are the wisest, most advanced affiliates in SFI. Are they? Or are they just persistent in spending time each day answering every question that appears? Are these the gurus who have spent years learning what to do and what not to do? That could certainly account for the wisdom in their answers. However, it is usually wisdom that is received by "thinking outside the box!" For instance, many are new to Internet Marketing and home based business. So, the first thing everyone needs to know is how to produce the "traffic which is a must to a successful business." SFI is obviously a sound company and produces many high income affiliates. But it takes more time and money than some are willing to devote to their business. Above all, it takes time to separate unto the team committed individuals who are in for the long haul. High quality affiliates are drawn to businesses that show promise.

Thinking outside the Box means "finding a way to get committed affiliates who are the backbone of any business." Advertising is great for people that have adequate money. If money is limited, it is essential that one makes use of the avenues of free advertising. Make your business known on Facebook, Twitter, and other Social networks. Even these take time to build.

Can you find someone willing to Joint Venture with you? Someone who can see the value of feeding a good program like SFI to their 10,000 down line? Their expertise would be an asset to your fledgling business? Would an influx of 1000 affiliates in a single day put spark in those who automatically benefit greatly in a single month? I've made the suggestion. Will I try to do it? Will YOU? "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" is an old saying. Make use of your computer to rise above the norm. Live chat is an obvious way to develop a closer relationship and understanding of those who are from entirely different circumstances than you. Without knowing more about your affiliates, you can not really help them.

I have an EA from Egypt who is suffering much. Before I knew his circumstances, I was telling him about the benefit of standing orders not realizing he was unable to come up with payment for the standing orcer which he thought would be paid from his SFI income. So, his Standing Order didn't get paid and it affected his struggling business adversely because it was not able to be continuous. This tells me I should not be giving advice to my affiliates unless I understand their economy, dollar currency exchange rates, where they stand financially, and how quickly they expect to be in a positive financial status with SFI.

There are several means of contacting our affiliates. The Chat room is more for getting answers to questions not specifically answered by SFI. It IS A WAY of getting to know how PSA's are reasoning. Are they expecting miracles of financial growth? And to receive other thoughts on company rules and policies. It is meant to be a soundboard or town hall of discussion. It is like the social networks. They can develop personal relationships or destroy them. I have found FaceBook and Tweeter to be VERY TIME CONSUMING. You must determine if time spent in the Forum is productive, and informative, or is it distracting from your daily advancement. I therefore acclaim its value to some, and its failure to others. YOU HAVE TO DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.
