Some SFI affiliate members believe that a new person should build their team up until the activities of their team “push” them into the Team Leader ranks. I personally find it hard to suggest this method to a new affiliate who is on fire to advance as soon as possible.

I do not believe that SFI has made a mistake in making it so someone can reach top levels within in their first couple weeks or months. There is a purpose for everything and every method that has been

Is it better to provide prospects with only a brief overview of what SFI is about...or more lengthly, detailed information?

When sharing with prospects whether it is by an ad, email or in person, information about SFI and TripleClicks the less information you share the better the chance that your prospect will want to check it out.

• Keep your information short but keep their curiosity juices flowing.
• Your information must be exciting and truthful with no hype.
• Make your information be a solution to their dreams and needs.
• Assure them of your qualifications to teach

How can we determine beforehand what are good spots to advertise?

That is a hard question to answer without covering all the different types of advertising that you may be planning to do.

One of the things I have done if it is a free site is to run a ad that you know works well for you on other sites. If it is working well then continue using them – if the results are lower than what you usually receive then don’t use them again.

If it is a paid site for advertising then use Google search to find reviews about the

In my years of trying to sell vacuum cleaners, encyclopedia sets and stock options I learned that it takes special skills to be a good salesperson because as hard as I tried I don’t think I ever sold more than one item from each of the ventures I got involved with.

When I got arrested for going door to door selling kitchen appliances and cooking sets in what is known as a “green” county or area, (Green county or area means it is against the law to sell door to door)

Is it worthwhile to create individual, personalized welcome letters to new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profile?

Creating individual personalized welcome letters to your new PSAs using the information they provided is a great idea. People like to see the personal touch it lets them feel like they are more of a team instead of just another “down-line” affiliate.

There is a small problem with this and that is when you might have a few hundred affiliates signing up within the month. You will not have the time to personally address each affiliate.

If that is the

One of the main ingredients of getting your affiliates serious about building their SFI and TripleClicks business is to be a great example that they can follow.

I personally believe that we sponsors need to do is relax a little on trying to get our new affiliates to commit to being a “serious” business builder.

We need to give our new teammates time to work into the “serious” mode of doing business. As an example; when I first started SFI I had

How can I elevate my SFI advertisements above all the competing business opportunities out there?

One of the first ways to elevate your advertisements is to eliminate all hype. The more advanced marketers that you are looking for will know hype when they see it and they will avoid your ad just like I do when I detect it.

Keep your ads honest and aboveboard, this will put you above many of the advertisements that are showing up on the network today.

Be as original as you can through your ad (don’t copy the same thing everyone else is using), be creative

Are you planning to use the new JMT Gateway...and will you recommend it to your team? Why or why not?

I really like the JMT (Join My Team) Gateway – It would be a little better if we were able to edit more of the content so a greater personal touch could be applied. Other than that I think it will work great.

I would definitely recommend this new web page to my teammates – The layout and information is good and it will take pressure off the new affiliates on what to say or what Gateway to use.

I still think it will draw a lot of tire kickers but that

When you present a “Free to Join” marketing plan to the Internet and you do not use any kind of qualifications that would help control the type of people who click on your sign-up page then you can receive multitudes of different kinds of tire kickers.

People sign up because it is free – when they find out that it will take some kind of effort like:

1. Time
2. Money
3. Learning
4. Reading
5. Commitment
6. Patience

What are some ways to demonstrate to team members the importance of reading a little daily at the SFI Affiliate Center?

I personally believe that if an affiliate is logging in they will automatically start reading things that are located there. As to how much they read will depend on just how active they are in the building of their SFI and TripleClicks business.

To demonstrate to your team members the importance of reading you could put blurbs in your stream post and send it to your CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates) or to your PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) or both.
