Yes, it is true that good communication is important in relating with the rest of your team, but you can still get your message across without necessarily being a professional writer.

I think the basic communication skills will do, however, like in most areas of life, there is always room for improvement. In this context your writing skills can be improved by reading the relevant books. One such book is “Bird by Bird, some instructions on writing and Life.” It is written by

In order to avoid stagnation and ensure that your business continues to grow you will certainly need to develop successful habits:

1. Commit yourself: self-commitment and goal setting are signs that you are serious about your business. You may not always meet your set goals but that gives you an opportunity to re evaluate the next phase.
2. Persistence: You are bound to experience disappointments of one form or another and how you react to them can either make you rise

This is a subject that comes up quite often and this in itself suggests communication is an essential ingredient for both team leadership and team membership.

Communication is important in all aspects of our lives and when it comes to online work such as SFI, where there is little or no face-to-face interaction, one has to make use of the various resources of correspondence at our disposal to share ideas and also help others.

A problem, an idea or message that cannot be shared

Confusion and duplication cannot certainly walk hand in hand, as the end result would be more confusion.

I think one has to first establish the cause of confusion:

1. Is it due to information overload?
2. Is it due to language barriers?
3. Is it due to difficult in discerning what is presented?

Once the cause has been established it should be addressed before any duplication can take place. Of the three causes above, the most likely are the first two. Language

What is the difference between working hard...and working SMART in SFI? How do I make sure I'm in the second group?

This is a very interesting question, as it does not only apply to SFI but also to any type of work that is goal oriented rather than procedural.
I would say that smart work is actually hard work that makes the most of both available time and resources to get productive results.
Some people easily confuse smart work with short cuts and while they may bring some instant results, short cut based achievements are also short-lived as they are not based solid foundations.

Your downline consists of PSAs and CSAs and can be of several generations depending on the size of your team. You can correspond with them in many ways and here are some popular examples:

1.To write information, which is essentially the same in content (for example a newsletter), take advantage of PSA mailer, CSA mailer or Genealogy. If you want to send information to a specific number or group of affiliates, then use the filters that come with Genealogy. It is

You quest involves two methods: online marketing (one to one) and offline marketing (face to face).

Most marketers will identify with online marketing but there is no reason why offline work using a face-to-face approach cannot succeed. It largely depends on how you conduct yourself and I would say that if you chose to go face-to-face, then:

1. First be comfortable with the information you have to present. That is you should know well ahead what you intend

Should I prospect people to become affiliates only from my own country...or from everywhere?

With SFI attracting more than 4 million members from more than 200 countries, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you restricted your recruiting exercise to just your own country.

Yes, it is certainly true that speaking the same language and having a common culture makes it easier to relate to one another but in business, this notion was more valid in the pre Internet era than it is today. In the last 30 years, we have seen a vast improvement in how the

To build a successful SFI business, how much should I rely on my sponsor?

To a great extent, success depends on the efforts of the affiliate. Along the way to your destiny, you will come across not just material to read and understand but also people of which one them is of course your sponsor. The sponsor is your first point of contact but there are also other people in your upline including your co-sponsor. Sometimes the relationship between the sponsor and the affiliate is also affected by how one got the sponsor. For example it is possible to have a member of your
