The single biggest reason for once active members to become inactive is they Quit.

To quit is a sign that the person has some issues with self motivation, or has certain fears related to their business that make them suspicious of everything. The latter is often cause by a deep rooted fear of success, where a person can have a dream but be so afraid they will have to give up who they are to obtain it that they concoct reasons to not try, or excuses to fail without even thinking about this fear.

How to combat these two reasons for giving up?

1. Send motivational messages with each step taken in the journey. If a PSA fills out their profile, becomes an EA, qualifies for Fast Track, then be the first person to congratulate them. even if the act seems small to you the compliment and encouragement to keep going could mean the world to them.

2. Have something inspirational to say in each team mail. Don't just send a bunch of links with do that, buy this, go here, read this one. encourage the members of your team to engage in the discussion and join contest you set up using the contest manager. Small wins can have big impact too.

3. Where possible get the member to join a Skype group of Facebook Chat so your team can work together daily, share in successes, and see they are never alone. Become their friend in business as well as their peer to keep trust high.

4. Share testimonials, success stories, and milestones like my recent 3 year SFI anniversary. When you see other people doing what you have self doubts about it is easier to find motivation to make their success yours.

5. Make sure team members know vital information like the fact that Gery and Bonnie Carson are the owners of Carson Services which owns and operates SFI and TripleClicks, that the parent company has been in business over 30 years and that SFI has been in business for 17 years and growing. Share with them details about the SFI headquarters in Lincoln Nebraska USA including a link to the Who We Are page that is connected to your Free gateway so they can see exactly what the corporate headquarters look like.

Along the way you will help them build habits that will guide them to motivate their teams which in turn will help them self motivate. You will also build proof up to deny suspicions before they become burdensome and cause any loss of sleep. The proof is all over that SFI is a great company, fully licensed, and well experienced that has been around for decades and has only gotten better with time.

Both:

Why would you not share a business you love, believe in, and are making money with to you family and friends? I mean that would be like owning a restaurant and refusing to hire your sister as a waitress, it makes no sense and is not fair to your family or you.

Strangers can both be easier and harder as they may be easier for you to approach because you don't fear rejection from them the same as you do Uncle Bob or Cousin Sandy, but at the same time they don't know you so they are less apt to be concerned with hurting your feelings and saying no gracefully.

As a business owner you have to face strangers regardless of that risk or your business will never grow.

Usually this type of question is more about self doubt. If you are worried about what your friends and family will think you are not yet as confident as you need to be in your business. Stop the self doubt! SFI is real, ask the BBB, ask then nearly 1 million affiliates, ask any GTL or PTL, this business could not be more real and it pays nicely when you work hard.

Get rid of the self doubt and share your business everywhere.

My magnetic car signs and Wave 3 sticker get constant attention so I keep X-cards for SFI and Wave 3 and ECA brochures in the van at all times to hand out.

Meeting new people is great also because many will ask what you do for a living or where do you work, so places like church gatherings, chamber of commerce events, Rotary club, Local festivals and parades and school functions all provide a great chance to prospect locally and I have even had success doing laundry. I'll hang a flyer on the bulletin board and inevitably someone will ask what the flyer is for.

I also like to leave cards and flyers in places like in magazines at the doctors office and hospital waiting room or basically any place people will be spending time waiting and may need to occupy their minds. You can also have success by adding an x-card with your tip at restaurants you eat at and handing them to clerks as you check out at the local stores and shops.

If there is an idea in your head of a great place, move on it and make it happen because chances are you're right.

If you want to break new ground you can use them to convert leads with a low cost CPA or cost per action or SMS text to mobile campaign. They also work good as a random drawing to entice people to like your Facebook or Google Plus pages and as contest prizes if you blog and run contest.

On twitter you can offer a $12 gift certificate to the first X number people who retweet a message for you or send you an @reply. You can also give them as random gifts for joining your newsletter if you have a great capture page and autoresponder. Not trying to confuse anyone I know some will have to look up these terms or may need to ask someone for help but they are vital thoughts for modern marketing.

The last thought is a bit old school but if you exchange contacts with someone interested in discussing home business you can send them the gift card as a thank you gift for making the exchange but do not come off sounding like and advertisement unless you can prove a business relationship. The last thing your business needs is a SPAM Complaint.

If they can't figure out that Free is a great commodity then they aren't paying attention.

They need to realized that even at 5 T-credits a month and 50 MRP these gifts can give them immediate benefits in terms of VP from bids on auction items or long term they can allow them to buy things they need with very little if any out of pocket cost. They need to see that not taking that $2 and getting the membership they are leaving cash on the table even if they aren't interested in winning that $250 TripleClicks gives away each week.

Then of course is the $250 a week they could win by referring others that is simply not available unless they themselves have paid that shipping fee and got their free promotion kit. It's like getting a free lottery ticket with each free member they send to the store. Again it's money left on the table for someone else to grab if they don't reach out and take it.

The nice thing is when they finally get it they will have broke the ice and taken that chance and made their first purchase at TripleClicks.

SFI has massive opportunities to people who refer new TripleClicks members who then make purchases and people who bring in new E-commerce Associates (ECA) who generate sales. You don't even have to sponsor a single affiliate to make a LOT of money with SFI.

I have a simple plan I follow for building my team.

Step One: I train my mind every day and share what I learn on one of my blogs.

Step Two: I place new ads every day, be it free classifieds, surfing an exchange, or using paid ads and traffic sources you have to open new doors to your business.

Step Three: Participate in Co-op Advertising. Regardless of it being your sponsor or co-sponsor running the co-op, you starting one with your downline, or you buying into S-Builder or PSA to Go you can take small amounts of money and get big budget advertising results. Your plan could be a simple one involving one of our ECA even. There is an ECA who small ad budgets pay a price of around $2.75 per referral, but the more you buy the lower the cost goes. If you buy 1,000 Guaranteed, pre-qualified PSA through them it cost $900 or just 90 cents per referral.

$900 is a lot of money for one affiliate to come up with but maybe 20 people paying $45 each to get 50 of those PSA is easier to do? Likewise you can place an ad in Home Business Magazine and reach over 40,000 home business minded professionals who are training their minds and ready to work and invest. If an ad run at $500 didn't gather $800 sign ups I would be shocked, and you could have 10 people at $50 or 20 people at $25 split the advertising cost and potentially run an ad in that slot every month.

Step Four: Know how to generate sales at TripleClicks. Be well versed in the new Wave 3, and promoting TripleClicks products with niche marketing or product reviews, and be ready to teach your new PSA to do the same, because the faster they are making money the less apt they are to leave SFI.

I saw a answer tonight about the stars in the sky and some shining brighter than others and while I agree that there are definite signs of one PSA being more ready than another I will point out a bright star is often not a star at all, or in some cases it may be closer and not really brighter so don't forsake the other stars in your sky.

See some stars are planets and moons they are like affiliates who read and copy portions of the training and reach some early success but because they don't fully grasp the why or how, they get stuck and their business stagnates for a period of time. At first they seemed like a bright and rising star but until their CLICK moment happens and it all suddenly becomes clear to them they will be in a set orbit somewhere between Active and Successful.

Some Stars appear dim and tiny because they are farther from the earth. Likewise we have new members who have never done anything like this before and broke affiliates with no funds for investment who are farther from success for those reasons than affiliates who can place a Standing Order in their first 10 days, who have a e-mail list and can add 30 PSA to SFI in their first month, and can spend money right away on paid advertising for TripleClicks items. Many of these stars that are farther from success at the beginning are actually bigger and brighter in terms of potential than those showing early signs of greatness.

So how do you tell if an affiliate has the potential to shine bright and reach success?

1. They will be studious. Nobody reaches success without knowing their business, asking tons of questions, reading countless hours of training and self help materials and learning something new every day.

2. They have work ethics. They show up at a set time and work set hours, and are dedicated to doing task like their daily actions and understanding what each report means. They are constantly helping others in the forum and A2A, and will participate in a team chat if you have one on Skype or Facebook Chat. They advertise and build a vessel for marketing like a blog or website.

3. They invest all they can. It may not be money if they are poor but they invest more time than the average PSA on a more regular basis. You can see them online at the SFI site multiple times a day and feel their presence in the forum and AskSC as well as see them on social networks and on ad sites. They put in many hours regardless of the slow return on the investment as they get established.

4. They stick with it. At 30 days with SFI they are still doing daily actions, at 60 days they haven't been discouraged by the extra effort to become EA2, and at 90 days they are asking how they can make this their best month yet. At 120 days they are touting small successes and 180 days they are supporting a new rank, bragging about a special PSA, or winning a award like Top Sponsor. You can see longevity and progress in their business even if others are further along in terms of current earnings.

I hope you see many of those traits in yourself.

Business franchise, business for sale, and jobs sections work for SFI promotions but the best effect you can expect from classifieds is when you promote specific products at TripleClicks in their proper sections. Example would be listing a TV in the electronics section under TV's or The Natural Cleaner products under Household Goods or even cleaning services.

Fact is 99% of your classifieds viewer are either looking to sell something or looking for a specific item at a price they can afford. Very few are there searching for a home business specifically. When you list in home business listings you are limiting yourself to a small number of people but attacking the other categories you will find people who had never even thought of a home business as a solution to their desires.

Meeting people looking for a product at a certain price point with a great deal can generate you cash commissions you can use to feature your listings, pay for offline publication, or buy other types of ads on different sites.

I teach them how to use the co-op manager and find quality traffic to generate quality PSA so their team is never short of new prospects. Even if all you can generate is 1PSA each per month you are making progress and building your business.

I continue to drive the thought of content being king and the power being in the list. I show them how to create free reports and tie them into an auto-responder sequence that will help pre-sell people on the SFI opportunity and I show them how to layer content on a range of sources to build link wheels and explode their search engine rankings.

I teach them to stay connected and offer a Facebook Group, Google Plus Group, and Skype Chat to help them grow daily as well as my e-mail address and being online at SFI around the same time each day for a few hours so they can use SFI Chat.

Above all I teach them to give abundantly because what they get in return is worth far more than monetary sums. They will find financial wealth but they will also find peace of mind, friends who can be counted on, and a reputation fit for a king.
