My CSA.

I easily wanted to give up because I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The abundance of training material that I had to read through, immediately discouraged me as I didn't have the time to read through it all.
That was untill I saw my CSA advancing on the ranks and I thought to myself, "what kind of example am I setting here?" How am I suppose to help my CSA grow his business? Our business? It was then that I sat down and actually read through some of the information available here and that immediately was the turning point for me.

You only give up when you think it's too hard. Read through your training material, make notes and understand what you're reading. You'll realise it's not the rocket science that you thought it was.Your background knowledge of this business and this industry is what you should be aiming for. Once you fully inderstand this, ideas will come immediately and that alone will be motivation enough to help market/promote/grow your business.

We all just need to sit down, read, understand and most of all THINK.

I had those phases myself sometimes. But the reason I pushed it forward and still do is becouse of my strong will for having a financial FREEDOM...and time freedom. I've seen so many stories told by our SFI colagues and uplines and it made me believe that if you work hard and never give up, your success is inevitable. In this bussines you eather quit or succed.. And I chose to SUCCED.

Whenever I feel demotivated I think about how it will be for me in a few months when I start earning really good income that will rise every month. In a few months I will be so happy that I've sticked with SFI and not quiting when it was the hardest. That is waiting for all of us who are persistent enough.

Also when I first started, advertising was a big hassle for me, I didn't know where or how to promote and it made me fell like I will never make it in this bussines. But now when some time has passed new ideas are just popping in my head and I realised how much creative you can be in this bussines. That gave me a great motivation also.

And don't get demotivated when people you reqruit aren't active, it is their problem if they don't want to make their life better. Just accept that most people are not strong enough or persistent enough to sacrifice a hour a day or less to succed. But you are, and that's what matters. And great active PSAa are out there waiting to read your advertisement :) So just go strong, don't give up and the most important thing... advertise, advertise, advertise :)

In every job, you have ups and downs. Sometimes,you need just a little to be satisfied and efficient but sometimes you are feeling like gaining nothing. When you feel like giving up, have something in mind:
-no one promise the income overnight
-patience and constant work are very important
-planing one thing after another is a good way to overcome that feeling, so you should start from small things
-use each new day to do something for improving your business
-don't underestimate small steps you can do (advertise, work on your blog for promoting, write answers like this one, visit TripleClicks to see new products and auctions... )
-think positive-if you don't want to invest money-you don't have to,so you have nothing to lose
-if you ever give up,you are not at loss,you have learnt a lot about online marketing,you had free training,
-as just a TC member you have many facilities, so why not try to succeed and have many more reasons to progress?

I think that almost every affiliate at some point at their voyage thing the same thing. I certainly had the same question rousing through my brain a year ago. My commissions were very low and I was barely making it through the month.

But then something clicked in my mind and I decided to stick to it and started to work even harder. It's no use if you work for 6 months and then decide to quit then you've really wasted 6 months of your life and your money.

I started to read inspirational eBooks and quotes and the best that I liked I post them on my PC background and on the wall in my office.

I'm also a single mom and for that I was decided not to fail but to succeed so I could get out of debt and my daughter won't suffer from deprivation.

The first thing you need to do is to change your mind set about being an affiliate, what does it actually means and how much of you are you going to invest in it.

You need to know that being an affiliate is much like having a real business, it takes a lot of time and hart work. If you go about it the free way (free advertising and so on) it's going to take longer to see results.

Just keep your mind focused on your goal!

Hi,

I got to SFI by Chance, just browsing the internet looking for nothing in particular, I registered and went away never to come back until two months later when I received a very challenging and passionate team mail from a member of my upline team.

I took that challenge very serious and took him up on it. I made a commitment to succeed in this business just so that his efforts on me will not be wasted, He gave me my first $30 to spend at TripleClicks, that made me EA first, before I lost my rank after the First month, It felt very bitter and I kept felling I have failed in my resolve, then I qualified again and I am in my EA 7 month consecutively and still going.

The ONE thing I did that has kept me pushing forward is, I made myself a promise to succeed here, because one Affiliate in far away continent believes I can do better, thinks I am too good to come and go, He see a potential in SFI that made him give a $30 gift to a total stranger. I have decided to be the very best I can, archive the top most Rank possible in SFI and earn a life in come from my efforts here.

This is because someone believed in me and has seen the potential in SFI and TripleClick I was courageous enough to gamble on me.

There was once a question asked of the worlds most successful Home Business Entrepreneurs about what are the top five attributes you need to succeed.

There were various answers but the two that appeared in EVERY survey without failure were persistance and enthusiasm. The Entrepreneurs were also asked to list their top five in order of importance. Most of them had enthusiasm and persistance as #1 and #2, but the order would be different.

After reading through the whole interviews I came to believe that persistance is far more important than enthusiasm. After all, when things are going well, affiliates are signing up, sales are being made, and the money is rolling in, it is easy to be enthusiastic and to keep going.

It is when you get the bad days, the days of doubt, the days of no sales and no signups, the days when you think it isn't going to work and to give up, THAT is when you need PERSISTANCE.

Read the stories of famous Entrepreneurs who have done what you are currently striving to do. Of course read Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill and our own Gery Carson. But also look for other inspiring stories. Read the forums and take advice from the PTLs and GTLs in SFI who have been here 10 years, some of whom are probably in your upline.

One of my personal favourite mentors is Richard Branson, maybe the most successful UK Entrepreneur ever. His story is remarkable, but his ethos can be summed up in one sentence, his favourite phrase: "Screw it, let's do it!" Whenever he had doubts about a project, about a business, about whether he should try something he always came up with the same answer "Screw it, let's do it!"


Some people say motivational sayings have become cliched and are "cheesy" but I believe they are as vital now as they have ever been.

"Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm"

"A ship in port is always safe - but that's not what ships are made for"

"Screw it, let's do it"

"Dream big, aim high"

and to quote the great Winston Churchill in is address at a University:
"Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never give up"

pushing on.

I failed many times in my life. The only thing that keeps me going is my daughter. She is my inspiration and I want to give her the best life I could. I can't think of any job that would give me everything that working from home doing SFI has to offer.

I almost given up also with SFI, my first 3 months was really tough, I got my EA rank and lost it due to financial problem, and now I'm EA2 and I'm facing same problem again. But this time, I'm more wiser, I'm learning every single day with SFI and even though I'm having difficulty financing my SFI business, I got to know new tricks to increase my VP without sacrificing too much of my budget. I know somewhere down the road, I will find those hard to get affiliates I've been looking for and my business will flourish just like others. It maybe super tough to build the foundation of this business but it's tougher to do nothing and end up nothing...

I have almost given up too.
Sometimes, I just get tired of everything and think to myself, why am I doing this?
I do everything possible to get my downline active, giving gift certificates, T-Credits and words of encouragement which fall on deaf ears.
It can be all very frustrating!
I read motivational quotes and articles which give me the encouragement and motivation to continue and also the belief that I will find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, maybe not tomorrow but one day in the near future.
I still log in everyday because this keeps me in the right frame of mind to be successful and continue with the program no matter how many disappointments I face.
I want to leave my full-time night shift job more than anything in the world because it's slowly killing me and this is certainly a motivation to continue with SFI.
SFI is my escape plan from a life of stress, drudgery and very little sleep to a life of happiness where I have the time to do what I really want to do!
So keep in mind the reasons why you joined in the first place and believe that your goals are achievable and it will all fall into place. Never Quit!
